You'd be right about them being able to put in "fake birthdays". Then again, I've seen the Parental Controls of the 3DS being used for communities. I actually saw it pop up once on my 2DS even though I don't have them set up which is weird. Yet, we all know how actual "parenting" is nowadays. People would rather have their kids baby-sat by Call of Duty then actually do anything with them. That's also a reason why all these Japanese/niche games get censored, or at least I'd like to think so which Is why I hate it.

Did you happen to check out my MiiVerse and pictures? I still wish it worked like the Vita, then I could put it on my PC and in my signature. Now, I'll have to use "snipping tool" or save it manually off MiiVerse if at all possible for pictures of Conception II. I'm actually thinking about using a site that cycles through them if I can find one. Personally, I'm not a big fan of those Multiplatform games that are on handheld's where I'd rather play them on consoles. Like those WWE games or all those Spider-Man games where they've been changed to have different versions on handhelds then they do on consoles. I know that Star Wars: Force Unleashed had huge differences on each device it was on.

Yeah, I know, I just felt like sharing it with you. Because you (and a few others I know on Gaia) aren't all on that hate GameStop bandwagon they happen to be the devil yadda.. yadda... yadda.. I actually saw someone comment that "GameStop was gonna die" on Facebook because of that change. Yet, all these other companies joining in (BestBuy, Target, Amazon, Wal-Mart etc.) haven't made GameStop go bankrupt yet. Which leads me to believe that people know nothing about economics/bussiness and how they work. lol

I actually did purchase Conception: II Children of the Seven Stars for my 2DS from the eShop. I went for the 3DS version because it was $10 cheaper digitally than the physical retail copy. It's also a very fun game and I've been taking screenshots and posting them on MiiVerse. I also have Project X Zone and SMT IV. I actually wish that they both had MiiVerse communities though. Because it shouldn't be that hard to program a way to filter out people who shouldn't be in the more "Mature Themed" communities. I've actually seen a 12 year old in the Conception II community. I do wish I could take screenshots with the 2DS just like you can on the Vita though.

At first, I thought the game would look better on the first-generation Vita, which had an OLED screen I actually don't see a difference in quality. It also might be because I have a 2DS without the 3D filter so I have a sharper screen. Even though I've purchased a 2DS I don't see myself picking up that many games for it. Except for Tales of The Abyss, Harvest Moon: Beginning/Two Towns, Resident Evil, One Piece, Bravely Default, Pokemon, Dual Destinies, Devil Survivor: Overclocked, Soul Hackers and probably if anything else interests me. By the way, GameStop is going to be changing their trade-in policies which will launch on August 18th. For example, a game for that costs $9 originally will give you $11 instead. You can still bump it up with pre-orders/promotions but it won't be needed like it was before. Here's some more information.

Hello! How's it going?

Seem's like Tales of Xillia 2 and Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment will both be coming out on the 19th. I can't even purchase both, let alone probably purchase either since I lack in the funds department. At least, there seems to be some interesting sales on PlayStation Network digitally when it comes to Square Enix games. I really would like a new game to play though.

That's really great to hear. I hope that this does end up being that "stable" job that you need. I actually went to Wal-Mart today and checked out the self-checkouts. Sure enough, it said "NCR" on the front. I do hate how they've set up the self-checkouts at Wal-Mart though. You used to be able to use money as currency on all of them. Now they've set up to where only specific self-checkouts use money and that's usually only '1' out of all of them they have. I prefer the old way or at least give me the ability to use money since I don't have a debit/credit or bank account yet. Long story short, I still haven't found a job because of my issues I've explained prior and we just can't find my social security card to get that bank account or a debit card.

Yeah, I'm really hoping that my 2DS comes soon those AR games on the 2DS/3DS are pretty interesting.. I actually played with brother's today because I went to a Baseball game with him, my Father and myself. We had joked a lot while we were there and the hilarity started to ensue with what people said to me and my brother. My brother happens to have a pre-existing work condition that they didn't want to pay for so it never ended up being properly "fixed". Anyways, they sell these mini baseball helmets that they put ice cream in. My brother stuck the helmet on his hand where he has this brace and I made the joke about it being the baseball player "BraceFace" and how he has a broken "Pitching Finger". Those AR games on the 2DS/3DS are pretty interesting.

Here is the baseball player, Brace Face. He was excited to play for the Home Team, but he has a broken pitching finger, so he is out for the season.

Well, besides already explaining about the VGD and how it happens to be a mess. I'm really only still logging on for the friends that I've made and still talk to on here. I've been visiting another site though, to actually "discuss" about video games but even that site has it's fair share of a varying community but it seems to be better than Gaia's, VGD for the most part. I'm only really staying here for the friends, but it does really make me contemplate if I should even bother staying. I came on this site again after a long hiatus to discuss and talk with friends but without the former I don't really see the point.

I'm glad that your new job is working out for you. Hopefully, you end up being able to end up keeping the job and it doesn't cause too much stress for and with what you already have to live with until you can get it taken care of. I've never really been a big fan of coffee, but I did try mocha once from the local convenience store. I can't say that I actually regretted it but regular coffee seems to have a bitter taste but for some reason people like it. I don't think I've ever seen any of your companies 'goods' anywhere over here in Utah. I'm still waiting for that 2DS to come if it ever does. I saw that they took the listing off of the website I ordered it from and it was still back-ordered. I ordered it before it got taken off and when they supposedly ordered more so I hope they fulfill it.

There's so many trolls, s**t-posts and lack of moderators. I think it's been like 2 or 3 days since I've sent in a report? Either way, I'm quite disappointed in the forum and the mod's that don't do their jobs. Anyways, how have you been? I'm really starting to feel the after effects of joining up with a forum community again. It also doesn't help when I visit two sites, and the other has gone down the drain being Gaia Online.

Don't really have time to reply to the whole PM.

I think people also forget that GameStop were the one's to pony up the publishing fee's for Xenoblade Chronicles. They might have reprint it, and raised the price but without them it wouldn't have happened. Since I heard that Nintendo of Europe or America didn't want to really localize it.

They also reprinted Metroid Prime: Trilogy and Tales of Heart R is GameStop Exclusive. So there might be a similar situation with Xenoblade Chronicles. Before and after the reprint occurred. Which is why people should pre-order a copy of Tales of Heart R if they need to.

Ah, well, I was just sharing some of the stuff I know about the Android platform. Yep I remember about your job opportunity. It's always nice to learn new things and relearn them just for the sake of practice. "Practice makes perfect" after all. Although, I don't know how much practice is needed to be perfect, because nobody happens to be perfect. I'm sure you're very great at what you do, so you shouldn't give into self-doubt. I can see how it can frustrate though, since you aren't exactly using your talents and your knowledge of being a programmer. Don't want to make a hasty decision though and end up regretting it. So here's hoping that you do get the job in the end because you sound like you need a breath of fresh air or a new outlook on life as a 'Programmer'.

Even though I also appreciate my Tablet, I don't use it as much anymore as when I first got it. Especially when you're limited to whatever's compatible and shows up in the Google Play Store App which shows you what you can and can't play/download. I still enjoy my consoles/handhelds because even though I like Android it's not perfect, and at least with my consoles or handhelds I know that what I purchase will work on my PS3, Vita, Wii, Xbox 360 etc. Without having to tinker with it or finding a different way to make it work. If you do end up using your tablet for games in the end there's always those RPG's that I linked that remind me of the good old days.

I haven't played them in a while though, since I find myself spending more time with Video Games. I usually only use my Tablet for YouTube, Netflix, and occasionally a game/app if I'm bored or that promotion I was talking about earlier. Temple Run and Angry Birds are also fun if you ever find yourself playing even though they can get repetitive but they're short bursts of fun like most apps. If you can find apps in all the clutter, spam, advertisements etc. (Although I haven't really purchased any new games, or had the inative to go back and replay the ones that I do have). Not that many happen to interest me, and those that don't I don't have the money for at the moment.

I've actually been interested in getting a job in the Gaming Industry. Even though I don't know how great I'd be since I’m not the best artist and working on a character or something on a piece of Software might be a hardship in itself. Just need lots of practice though since that's really all I'm interested in besides creating/helping with Japanese Anime. I did read an Article about being a Game Tester where it sounds like it's not all the fun. Since, you don't get paid all that much and you end up repeating the same stage/level multiple times over. From your experiences it sounds like it can be difficult to get a job and keep that job. I don't know what I'll end up doing, but I do know is that those are the two things that interest me.

If you want some interesting RPG's as long as they are compatible with your Android Tablet. There's the Kemco Games on Google Play I've purchased a few, and they also have the option for some free apps with advertisements. I haven't been playing my tablet that much recently though except for the current Mtn. Dew promotion game since for 830,000 points and when it unlocks I can choose for a $75 GameStop gift card. Which I doubt I'll make it but I at least plan on trying.

I usually spend more time on my consoles/handhelds though, than I do on my tablet since I'm not a big fan of the Sorta-Like PC aspects. All depends on the Operating System, Processor, chip set etc. For what games you can and can't play. If there's one you can't play but you really want to then that means a better and different tablet. I have the Chinese version of the Nexus 7 more or less and actually has stuff that it didn't have in the first place HDMI output/input, expandable storage etc.

I've never really socialized at all as a kid either. Unless it happened to be for Pre-School in my Neighberhood or kids that lived by me. Since I wasn't as shy then, as I am now. Which sometimes I wish I could meet more people and hang out with them. It takes me awhile to warm up to people and that's it. Hopefully I end up with in a relationship with someone when I meet the perfect girl for me. lol

The VGD at least from what I see has become Anti-Nintendo. I don't really think Tittie's Smash Bros. topic helped things. Neither did that Mario Kart 8 topic. Maybe, it's because I wasn't on internet forums as a kid, but it didn't seem like people cared all that much about the 'Politics' of things. Complaints, conjecture, trolling, assumptions 'being forced' seems to be the life of a Gamer nowadays. Pretty sad really. Noticed some people joining up in Dragon's Guild. If only I had the initiative to be active in a guild. I've pretty much lost the energy to do anything on Gaia. Whether it be in events or it's features, games etc. Doesn't really help that they're all in it for the money now.
