Satoru was carrying Kiku and having no problem at all keeping pace with Sesshomaru, as he carried Izayoi.
He seemed to be deep in thought, as they traveled.

"Alright, just be careful where you step."

Satoru gave a friendly look to the little girl.

"Don't worry, we'll find your father's body."

Her eyes lit up excitedly at his words and she asked,

"Really?! You mean it?!"

"Hahaha...
Of course I do.
Now, what's your name?"

"I'm Kiku."

"Are you alright, Kagome?"

He then thought to himself,

'He must be searching for something....but what?'

I remember that his hair was long, black, and tangled.", She explained.

He looked up at his daughter and her best friend.

"Don't worry, what you two had slain was a weasel demon and this little one is a full blooded fox demon."

His attention was then drawn back to the little girl, he was kneeling in front of.

"You see, this really scary man with crimson eyes showed up, while we were gathering acorns and he suddenly cut his head off with a creepy smile."

Setting the little one back on her feet, Satoru watched as she released her transformation.
Now stood a young female fox demon in place of the little human girl.
He had eyed the large cloth she had tied around her neck and asked gently,

"There's a head in there, isn't there?"

She nodded and said sadly,

"It's daddy's...."

"I sense something...."

Just then the villagers could be heard panicking, so Satoru hurried to the edge of the property for a look at what was happening.
A soft gasp left him, as he discovered a headless demon chasing a poor little girl.
Running swiftly fowards, he grabbed the child and leaped onto the roof of the nearest hut, before leaping back towards the courtyard of the mansion.

"The rumors are true then.
There really are headless demons wandering around and attacking aimlessly."

He was rather intrigued by his darling daughter's idea.
However, his attention was soon stolen by something and he slowly looked around the mansion courtyard slowly.

Satoru was training with Sango to gain more experience with methods used by demon slayers and what she knew about ninja tactics.
He in turn aided her with improving her reaction time to different attacks and better timing her counterattacks to help decrease the chances of her being caught of guard.

He was nothing but honest and genuine with his feelings.
Satoru loved children and was always great with them.
I know you would have loved him because he was very kind and equally protective.
When we first met, he had saved me from a mugger in the park and absolutely refused to leave my side, until he knew for certain that I would be alright."

He then stared into his cup, as he began thinking of Souta, his wife, and Grandpa.
A soft sigh left him, while he wondered how they were doing.

"Kagome seems to have gone outside to train and I believe Sango has decided to accompany her.", Satoru answered.

He then looked back at the other room and remarked,

"That's quite the impressive beating you've given Miroku without actually giving him internal damage, Sesshomaru.
Well done.."

(It's not just that. It's portrayal of the character as well.... Not to be mean, since that's not the goal, but Kagome's character is supposed to be pure. While that's impossible, at least she'd not use the jewel for personal gain, nor would she put beads on someone besides Inuyasha, have extra powers like creating shikigami, ect. It's a protest for those who copy, don't put effort into it, and don't portray the character. We are not just protesting Kagomes but also any one who does not put in effort, originality, or understand their characters.

Sorry if this offends you. A lot of people just feel change needs to happen and I support the cause...)
