He sighed softly before he began to explain.

"Both of those name have a double meaning actually.
'The Guardian' refers to I run an orphanage in a remote village located in a forest of bamboo.
I gather up children I've found that have lost their parents from war, bandits, hunger, famine, or simply because they abandoned they.
I've taught them to be tolerant of others which is why they get along with each other so well, considering they're a mix of human, half-demon, and even full blood demon children.
There are three seventeen year old appearing demons I've brought there for the same reason and they look everyone, while I'm away.
One's a kitsune, another a wolf demon, and the last one is a cross between a miko and a tiger demon.
The second meaning for that title, Naraku thankfully doesn't know about, but I happen to also the path to the demon graveyard.
I know the way there and can and can safely bypass the rule of needing to be killed by the stone guards Gozu and Meizu to travel through the gate.
Now that second titled began as how that stubborn monk , who isn't very friendly towards demons, said that I seem to be scarred because even though I have strong spiritual powers, they can take on the form of demonic abilities.
It quickly became a double meaning because me personality has a tendency for getting myself into trouble, so to speak.
It's better if I show you, rather than explain...."

Satoru unbuttoned his black shirt and remove his hands from the sleeves to show his daughter just what he had been through and turned around for her to see his back.

Satoru watched him leave, eyes hard as steel.

"Curse him.....", He said darkly, before he took a deep breath and turned towards Inuyasha.

"You did well, Inuyasha.
He may have gotten away, but Naraku seemed surprised by your Adamant Barrage attack, so you must have gotten a bit faster."

Kagome's father could tell that he and the monk were both curious about the titles that Naraku had called him by.
It would only be a matter of time before Miroku brought up why the evil hanyou called him 'The Guardian' and Inuyasha asked about the name 'Satoru the Scarred'.
However, there was a chance that Sesshomaru just may beat Inuyasha to it because he too looked curious.

Sesshomaru immediately leaped away and locked eyes with Kirara, who nodded.
He quickly placed Izyaoi on her back and the feline took to the air to keep her out of harms way.

"Kukuku....You really think that will work on me now?", Naraku taunted before throwing up a new more powerful barrier.

Satoru glared coldly at Naraku, when he looked at him.
He knew exactly what place this devil was searching for and he'd do everything to prevent him from entering those grounds.

Satoru narrowed his eyes at Naraku.

"You're clearly after another jewel shard, but it's in a place you cannot reach because you don't know enough about its location.
Isn't that why you're severing the heads of demons?"


"How very perceptive of you.
I expected no less from you, Satoru."
