I am just as fed up with Gaia, PB. After being on this site for almost 5-years, it has me so sad to see how Gaia has cheapen the collectibles, especially the older ones, by releasing badly done knock offs. It's just Gaia's way of turning people off to collectibles, which can only be sold user to user, so Gaia doesn't get to cash in on that, as they already did when they were released. By having the EIs, Gaia is assured of a constant cash flow with each gen that is released. They can also cash in on it all by releasing earlier EIs in other ways (OMG Boxes and the like). They really cannot do that with the MCs because they had promised the users that they would not do that.

So they created EIs and then shoved them down our throats, in hopes that the Cash Shop crap would become more valuable. They helped that by putting out less worthy MCs, since the CSs induction, and then to add salt to the wounds, cheap knock off of older items. just to cut down on newer users wanting to quest for them. They have succeeded too. Look at the Mochi. When I was questing for that, no one was selling for under 70k, and now anyone with one or two extra CS items to sell, can have one within days of joining Gaia. It took me over a year to save up the gold for mine!

Anyway... We will indeed keep in touch, and I look forward to seeing you and Dimitri when you two swing by my part of the US, this summer. There's always email and phones, and when all else fails, good old fashioned letter writing. I heard that Iason is leaving as well. Not sure about Angelia, though she's barely on here anyway.

Gotta run, hon. I want to get things organized here so I can eventually start sending items to a friend. I have a ton of stuff to trade over to her. It is going to take forever! Oy Vay!

I agree, hon. I am irritated by the current issues as well. I also agree with what Iason proposes. In fact I was a third of the way through a transaction to get some Gaia Cash, and while waiting for the page to load, I read his PM. Needless to say, I canceled the transaction. I can't support a site where the operators ignore the users as Gaia is currently doing. If this trend continues, I might just leave the site.
