and it's on gaara's foreheade...
gaara controls sand. that gourd behind him holds the sand.
they say hismother died and her soul is in the sand and that is why he is undefeatable. the sand(or should i say mother) protects him from any harm. his only weekness is water. that is why all he eats is gizzards and salted toungs. so pretty much he kills people by using his sand or turning into the monster inside him
temari is gaara's sister. she uses wind to defeat her enimies.
her fan has three moons. the first two moons are warnings but when the third moon shows it starts to get serious.
then there's kankuro. he is also a puppet master. if you have seen penguintapper's profile u'll understand why i said also.
but kankoru is i guess a good guy. he's halarious as well
