Ha ha ha. People are so stupid. I didn't ask you that, because why would I? Obviously you bathe somehow. Jeez. I completely understand. I'm like that about most things. I really wanted to be a sex ed teacher/professor, a counselor, or to work for Planned Parenthood. I was the only person in my high school's GSA 90% of the time. Once you start studying people, you start to realize that the word normal is weird. I expect everyone to have at least one little quirk or phobia or fetish or something. I think it's possible, because my dad's mom had German measles when she was pregnant, which has cause him to be nearly blind. He passed his bad eye site onto my sisters. I just got lucky. It'll probably be fun to watch. biggrin I have no choice when it comes to how flashy Pride Parade is here. It is the Hippie Capital, second only to San Francisco. I can understand you not wanting to participate. Just because you're gay doesn't mean you want to be flashy or wear a rainbow feather boa. Just like how not all straight couples want to have kids or get married. People are annoying when it comes to boxing others in. I definitely get just wanting to be normal. I was mistaken for a lesbian a lot in high school, because I was ALWAYS around my best friend at the time, I was in GSA, and didn't appreciate the use of the word f**(got) or gay as an insult. I was just being me, but apparently straight girls can't act that way.

Oh, wow. That's a little odd. But I totally get it. I am actually very afraid of drowning and of what's in deeper water. I can only swim in pools or take baths/showers. Yet, I refer to myself as a mermaid, love the water, seashells, the sound and smell of it (just the same you do) and I love rain. I think aquaphobia is actually really rational, so it's not entirely weird to me. I love wave pools so much. I haven't been to one in forever. Oooh. You might have inherited an aversion to it. I think that's possible. It rained here yesterday and today!! UGH. Also, you lucky duck. I have been trying to go to the pride parade in the city next to me for years, but I never seem to be able to figure out the date for it. Are you definitely going to be part of it? biggrin
