I think my dad recently said that their main "environmental disaster" guy has been dead for five years and they hadn't bothered to replace him. Yeah, they need to go to jail big time. ; __;

I have a few rivers and lakes I like to fish in so it's not like my hobby is completely destroyed.

Beaumont! I know where that is. I'm glad your house was for the most part ok. XD I live in Corpus Christi. My House isn't ON the water but it's pretty close! The Bayfront isn't that far away @_@'' . I have this I guess kinda irrational fear that the oil will get here and a monster hurricane will arrive and all the oil will get up on land and stink really bad. XD We have a seawall, but sometimes I question its integrity. rofl If the oil does hit here though fishing is gonna be destroyed for YEARS. I'm very pissed off about it. I love fishing. ;__;

Oh I know 5k used to be a lot, but I remember that the MCs from when I joined were the Grunny, Vampire Hunter, and Gothic Veil. I wanted the Veil, but it was 30k, and I was all, "Woe is me!" but in noob terms. Anyway! It's so...surreal/awesome to see you again. I'm glad I don't sound completely crazy for recognizing you. You seemed familiar when I saw you and read your post, and then you mentioned Kage and I knew it was more than insanity. =D Anyway, if it helps, I RPed as a girl named Felix who used a bow and arrow. I thought I had the power of all the elements. And! I know it was a Naruto RP, because that's when I tried to start watching the show.

I think I RPed with you and your boyfriend in Bass'ken fishing when I was a hopeless noob who godmodded and though 5k was a ton of gold. I used to be called Luckyfelix? I'm super sorry if you have NO idea what I'm talking about and have never met me, but I can't shake the feeling that you were basically the first person I met on Gaia. >.<

I too used to be the same. I hated the sight of blood and stuff, but I got used to it. Sometimes I'll get this horrible feeling, but it's ok, I deal with it my own way. Or the best way I know how.
One day when I'm up to it, I might just try acupuncture. It might turn out ok and help a little bit. I love stories with a happy ending.

Oh yes, I'm happy being an Admin, it's fun and I deal with lots of people, and with my previous experience on customer service it all works out well for me.
I'm happy so far, lets hope it stays that way. biggrin

Just the thought of needles gives me shivers up my spine. Although at the same time, I'm used to seeing them around. With my previous line of work, I've my fair share of needles to last a life time. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not into any thing like that. I used to cop, so naturally I'd see kids out on the street shooting, and what not. It's not something I'd like to see to this day.

There are many Aussies here on Gaia, but they're hard to find. I've crossed paths with a few. I wish there was more.

I used to be a cop, up until earlier this year. I've had enough of it, and the crap that goes on. So I decided to go back to my previous job. Which is in retail. So as of now, I'm Admin for a huge department store. It's fun, but lots of hours are involved. However, it's less stressful than my previous job. biggrin

One day perhaps in the year 3000 we may know what's going on. But until then, we'll wait and see. Hehe. Knowing my luck I'll probably end up buying some kind of fish. And then put them in the tank, a little later they'll bring out something that I can't buy, because I've already spend buying the previous fish. gonk That always happens to me.

I haven't tried acupuncture, I really should give it a go. Although I don't like the sight of needles too much, so it's something I'll need to get my fear over, because I can do it. Otherwise I'd be a nervous wreck.

I hope that with all those problem headaches that you have, you finally get that treatment that you need. There's nothing worse than having a major migraine/headache. It's a bummer to deal with.

I'm from Australia, so hence why this time of night suits me to be online. It's only 6pm Saturday night. And I've just got home from work. gonk

It's too late now. We won't get our dolphins back. cry What a bummer, because right now I'm due to buy something in replacement of them. But for the life of me, and actually everyone else. No one knows what's in replacement of them. And whether they'd be the same amount in coin drops.

I try not to take any kind of pills or medicines unless I really have to. Because they may help with one problem, but the side effects are bad. So with that being said, I try my best to avoid any kind of tablets or pills. I've heard that natural remedies from the health food shop are also good. But boy, are they expensive or what? Stupid people double or even triple their prices in these places.

Where are you from sweetie? If that's ok ask. Because not many people are on at this time, usually Gaia is quiet. But times zones are to blame for that.

See what really bugged me the most was the fact that they didn't give us notice about taking them away. If they'd 'pre warned us' about the upcoming removal of them. Maybe we'd stocked up on them, so that people wouldn't complain as much. They could have even had a half price Phin Phang sale, so that we could buy up on them. The Communication about all this isn't done the proper way. gonk

Oh I've tried just about everything for this stupid sinus, and nothing helps. I've just recently been told to put warm water and some salt in it. And then sniff it with my nose. That should apparently clear it up a little. But I'm yet to try that out.

Having bad migraines isn't nice at all. Over here we've been told. Or actually doctors say that Advil isn't good because it actually causes these headaches. So if you're taking it. Try and stay clear from it. *nods*
