If Hades turns out to get really depressed, how badly could his realm get affected by it, dare i ask?

The Sanctuary has a lot of activity back at the Guild, Jess.
Shall we meet up, to see if the Guild may need anything else to get further organized?

And also, how are you doing?

The Armada now has more new members for the guild, so feel free to visit at any time, if you like.
I still need to think on whether or not Hecate was created from 3 separate goddesses or not, though, because one of the only things i know that Hesoid did right[next to making sense out of Aphrodite's existence better!] was to explore Hecate's role, more.

history goddess

Scholars debate over exactly how we are supposed to look at hecate as a triple goddess, cause so little is really known about her and her role in greek society... There are 3 main theroies, the first, being that its a trinity of the moon; with selene, artemis and hecate, as the moon goddess'. the second, is hecate's role in the eluesinian myteries, the virgin= hecate, the bride= Persephone and the mother =Demeter. the third is one related to Hecates other role, as guardian of the cross roads. Remember when your walking on a road and reach a crossroads, how many ways are open to you? the answer is 3 =3 faces of hecate for the three roads open to you, but which side of her will you get? the dread goddess, the guide or the caring innocent girl?
If you go with Homers story of Aphrodites brith (where Zeus is her father) then Hecate is indeed a cousin of hers; but i tend (and gods i hate saying it, cause Hesiods a sexist b*****d...) to sway more to the birth of Aphrodite through the severed testicles of Ouranos... well one of her title, can be translated as both 'laughter-loving' or 'gential-loving' (...funny that.)

Perhaps all of the above, and more, could be true about Hecate, although i somehow suspected that Hecate could have been born from 3 separate goddesses who wounded up connecting their essences with each other, or something like that, if that's remotely possible, and if it makes sense.
Hecate, Selene, and Artemis are meant to share the Moon, but what particular 3rds would each of the 3 govern during the year?

I can agree about Aphrodite being born from Uranus' groin, because one of her titles does indeed have laughter-loving or genital-loving, plus if she were born from Uranus' groin, it may make even more sense on not being used to having a demigod child like Aeneas[one of King Arthur's Ancestors, from the Olympian section!] although didn't Plato suggested that there were actually two Aphrodites, at some point?

Either way, it seems that Aphrodite and Hecate could be related by varying degrees, and if the hunch i have about Hecate being consisted of 3 different Goddesses is even partially correct, it could be possible that the gap may be less massive or more massive than we can imagine, but in any case, it doesn't change the fact that Hecate is more versatile in the magic arts than Aphrodite is.

Hecate has so many secrets, along with the Morrigans, for that matter, that for all we know, they could be allies, and we wouldn't know it for sure.

history goddess

I tend to see hecate in the traditional greek light. with her as cousin to the twins apollon and artemis. in which shes always portrayed as a young girl, caring and kind and handmaiden to Persephone, queen of the dead. Yet at the same time shes a dark, warrior character, seen helping the greeks battle the titans, assicated with the dark moon, wolves (like other witch goddess) and the spirits of the underworld. Shes one of my fave because theres such mystery around her.
Pallas athena would be different, my sig actually says 'I love Athena'.

Perhaps you're right, but wasn't Hecate said to be a triple-goddess, in which Hecate would actually be 3 goddesses instead of just one, in which you are thinking of the third of Hecate who's Apollo's and Artemis' cousin, while i tend to imagine the 3rd of Hecate who's a sister or half-sister to Aphrodite? sweatdrop
I'm pretty sure that Hecate had some sort of ally in the Morrigan, of the Celtic Pantheon, right, if that makes any sense?
If Aphrodite can get away with having a potent rival or ally in Ishtar of the Babylonians[we're not entirely sure if she did, though, as we have more certainty of Arthur being descended from her than of the matters of Ishtar!], then the Morrigan could be someone like that to Hecate, for all we know.
The only way i can see Hecate giving aid to the Titans in this millennium would be that she actually has meaningful reasons for it, but even so, they would have to make a lot of sense and would need to be explored enough for it to be imaginable, but otherwise, all 3 parts of Hecate may consider trying to help keep Apollo and Artemis[and maybe Aphrodite] alive, along with Persephone, plus Hecate's disciples.
Hecate clearly deserved to be a candidate of most mysterious of the Olympian Pantheon, along with Aphrodite, Artemis, and Athena, but the one who takes the top prize should be Nyx, the Night Goddess.
You may be correct in looking at Hecate as a cousin to Artemis and Apollo, but since Hecate is said to be a triple-goddess, so could i.
I wouldn't joke about Mina actually being descended from Hecate, to be honest, as Mina would often question how related to Hecate she actually was.

Oh man, and i was so close on translating the Signature, right there, Jess.

So would the Signature be Greek for Pallas Athene, if i heard right?

And also, shall we meet up in the guild?

I also found new stuff about King Arthur, and about how he could summon the Dead, as well!

Anyone else familiar with King Arthur and his Knights?

You may have to look for it in Page 02, though.

History Goddess
All goddess' of love are on my "they might kill me" list, nothing against them personally, just i'm not the person to look for love or basically want anything to do with it...
If it happens it happens but i'd avoid it forever if i could...

Fair enough, even though Aphrodite normally would try to help heroes, but the only time i recalled her being straight-forward in aiding heroes was with the time she was shown aiding her son, Aeneas[King Arthur's and Julius Caesar's ancestor!] mainly because she just want her son to be alive long enough to be a ruler and to save his people[that, and she cares about her grandson, Ascanius, too!] but otherwise, she does tend to unleash a lot more collateral damage than necessary.

To be fair, you might have to keep your distance from Hecate, as well, especially if we speak of the versions of Aphrodite and Hecate who are siblings or half-siblings, just less so than with Aphrodite's case, since Hecate's a Magic Goddess of Witchcraft[which means she's more versatile than Aphrodite is, at magic!] for good measure.

Did they show a cameo role of Aphrodite's descendant, King Arthur, at Thor's Kitchen?

If its alright of me to ask, why would Aphrodite of Cyprus[King Arthur's ancestress!] wish to ruin you, when you didn't do anything wrong, yet?
Do you think Ishtar of the Babylonians[a potent friend, or at least Ally, that Aphrodite may or may not have, seeing their common grounds and differences and all that jazz!] may be out to ruin you, too?

So any luck uncovering anything new about The Aeneid, aside from the fact it turned out to be Western European[not just Roman] Propaganda, and more than just that, after all?

Perhaps the main reason why i didn't get to know my own ancestors as well as i should have done, was because i was unable to talk to my great-grandmum, often, i figured.
In any case, how is the news on your end, outside your family?
