Hmm i'm not sure lol.
I have a really high pain tolerance so i'm not sure what it would be like in for your case.
It's like a pinch if you do it quick with a gun.
If you're using a safety pin then it's alot more since it's slower and you have to push hard and wiggle the jewelery in.

I had to do all my piercings the hard way haha.

Lol just do it anyway.
At first i wasn't allowed to get all my piercings done but i just did them anyway and mom was just like w/e.
Same with my hair, at first i wasn't allowed to cut and dye it but when i did she couldnt do anythign about it.
She can't do anything about it once it's already done except like ground you or whatever.
Idk about what your mother would do, but i'd so go for it ^^

Haha my mom lets me do whatever as long as i do good in school.
Sadly i'm failing half my classes so i'm gonna have to wait till next semester to bleach the top half and braid ends white.

Uh huuuuh.
It'd look nicer if it was a bit more choppy.
Oh and when you do get it cut you should also get highlights and accents to emphasize the layers and choppyness.
