I admit that I was never really one to empathize, but more or less... it sounded like a familiar road.

...All is well at home. I assure that there is no need to worry over me. Just that it is a... challenge...being a third son, that is.
My father expects much of me. While I do excel at the challenges he poses, I have to be careful not to excel beyond his expectations as that might stray from his wishes.

Tricky, isn't it? At least that for you, Miss Micaela, don't appear to have a need to please a specific person's expectations.
I envy you for the having the freedom to excel beyond that.

But it is good to see that someone invests faith in you. -pats shoulder- Sometimes I feel that it is better that no one expects much of you. It seems much easier to excel and prove yourself that way... -pauses to reflect on his own situation-

Strawberries are good... Albeit, my desire for strawberries is not as great compared to several people I know. -chuckle-
Perhaps one of these days, you can chance on the presence of the rest of the club in the 3rd Music Room. Maybe even have tea and share a few strawberry cakes with them?
