I am an avid fan of all things pertaining to art, everything from literature and painting, music and theater, its the way that art immitates life and how life immitates art taht catches my attention and inspires me so.
though I would not claim to be as diverst as my interest, I practice many forms of art myself. I like to paint or draw scenic landscapes or cartoonish characters, and write poems or lyrics.
But most of all I am a huge fan of music, nothing can be more inspirational then a good song that seems to come on at the perfect time. There could be nothing so moving as music. And that is one of the reasons why I try to be so open minded to all genres of music, like industrial, rock, noise, dark wave and goth.... I say "try" just because I have a strong preferance towards metal. I listen to alot of it. Death metal bands like Behemoth, Morbid Angel, Death, and VItal Remains. Black metal bands like Dark Funeral, Mayhem, Dimmu Borgir, and Emperor. And Doom metal bands like Candlemass, Evoken, Sunno))), and Skepticsm.
I also play bass in a heavy metal band with my buddies... Were still in the writing processes so if we even do decide to play gigs it may be awhile off. But I also have a solo funeral doom project, where I play everything, doing all the writing and recording... so dont expect to see any live shows from that band either.
I am a man of many hobbies and interest, although currently I work far too much to really take the opportunity to enjoy such things, which can be very frustraiting if your deprived of an outlet.
These two misserable centers of employment in which I speak of are a Convalescent center and the Geek Squad. And while working a full time job and a part time job is really good money, it is slowly draining me of life.
That doesnt mean Im a miserable b*****d though.... only sometimes.
