I'll admit, I have tried, but I don't think I've quite gotten him down *just so*. Though I have read a few attempts at fanfiction and just... ugh. XD

Yes, he's not terribly written, though I do recall a friend of mine going through Demon Deathchase with a tally of how many times D is referred to as a "Mystic Bird" or something of the sort when he leaps. I'm just getting into the novels and manga myself, so I'm a bit behind.



...yet he still has enough depth to be awesome. He just has a bard for a storyteller. X3

Thank you for the compliment. Yeah, the stripes on the hat don't quite make sense to me either, but that's Gaia for you. And yes, he is pretty beefed as a character, but he still seems to be better than most... shall we say, wannabe superbeef characters anywhere?
