Hi, I was sick the last days because I ate something expired and too much chocolate. But I am better now. In October, I am probably going to start to study and moving out from home. =)

I got into fashion originally when I was little , when I had a second cousin who studied it. I strayed away from it for awhile, and heavily considered doing film, but when I went to college I decided to try fashion again. I learned suck at sewing but love drawing people in clothes, after my first 2 years of fashion classes.

I live in Minnesota, which resides in the upper Midwestern part of the United States, tucked right under Canada. I’ve gone to a public school my whole life and was raised in a more or less Christian household. I have never practiced the faith, though. When we first started sexual education in the 4th grade (or was it 3rd), we were split into groups of boys and girls and were taken into separate classrooms with the designated male or female teacher. The girls were told about their bodies and what we were to experience soon enough in the coming years, what physical changes will start happening to our bodies, and so on. Likewise with the boys.

Then every year after that it slowly approached sexual intercourse in general, which we read about the reproductive organs in textbook, read about hormones and how emotionally confusing the whole thing was, and making the right choices. Once 7th grade comes along, sexual education was simply merged into health class and at that time we learn about sexually transmitted diseases, birth defects, and other interesting things.

I don’t argue that parents should be involved with their kids in explaining these things to them. Open communication and a level understanding further helps prevent unwanted pregnancies and having sex way too soon. This is what I had assumed was the girl’s issue. Perhaps she has an unstructured household with no communication. Or she could have one of those mothers who is delighted her baby girl is a baby momma because that means she can lavish the grandchild with toys and love and in a way have a second child without giving birth herself.

It’s crazy how some parents react to it.

If my sons decide to act irresponsibly and get some young female pregnant before they are of legal adult age (1 cool then you can sure as heck bet I’m going to ride them relentlessly to get jobs (or work off the money we’re going to have to give in child support), take care of their child, and so on. They will be responsible for their actions and become the adults they thought they could be for those brief ten minutes of pleasure. I mentioned the child support because in our jurisdiction the father is required to pay child support (well, depending on who has legal custody over the child) but if he is not old enough to work or has no work the parents must pay until the child/teen is 18 years of age.
