Stuff You Should Know
My name is Nicole. Some know me as Nanami. Take your pick, I answer to both.I'm often described as laid-back, funny, crazy, different, strong, independent, loving, caring, lethargic, irresponsible, simple and low maintenance.
After high school, I spent some time traveling around, meeting new people and as always, getting myself into crazy mishaps and unfortunate relationships. I've lived in Texas, California, Washington and Florida. I was born in southern California and raised here in Oregon. So when I got the chance to come home, you better believe I was on the first bus headed out this way. This is home. This is where I want home to be for the rest of my life... although, I desire some time in the UK.
I live with my roommates Tina, Pat, Don and Christian... Speaking of Christian... He's my favorite stalker wink He's deliciously twisted like myself and baby, I wouldn't change that for the world. And if you read my blog (on MySpace or LiveJournal), you'll know that I couldn't gush enough about him. In him, I believe I've finally found my soulmate.
I am a Satanic Buddhist. A bit of an oxymoron, eh?
Well, let me enlighten you!
This is the first of the nine Satanic Statements. Anton LaVey expanded on this:
"The difference between indulgence and compulsion [is] indulgence can be controlled, compulsion controls.”
Anton LaVey; Essay on "Evocation" in The Devil's Notebook p77
If withholding something from yourself increases a later reward, then the route of tactical self denial is the most pleasurable route. As a Satanist is a long term tactician, patience and discipline are seen as methods of achieving happiness and ecstasy. According to LaVey, the same reasoning leads us to the conclusion that drugs are bad for indulgence in that they cause an imbalance that, in the long term, reduces the pleasures of normal experience. This is not the extreme compulsive indulgence of the self-destructive, nor is it asceticism. Like the Buddhists say, it is a "Middle Way".
“May I not fall under the power of misleading, stupifying passions.”
The Tibetan Book of the Dead quoted in "Buddhism" by Clive Erricker p83
Although Buddhists might hold that all desires and attachments are misguided, Satanists are emplored to enjoy life anyway!
So, when meshing the two, you get me... one who is looking to be enlightened through peace and meditation but will indulge in life and all that comes with it. One who will turn the other cheek to a certain degree. Should anyone screw with me, I will destroy them! Yay!
If you want more friends or whathaveyou... you can friend me! I love having more friends smile

Just sitting here on Gaia and watching college football as always. Typical Saturday for me.
For the good Gentile girls and the good Gentile boys
When the boss busted in, nearly scared 'em half to death
Had a rifle in his hands and cheap whiskey on his breath
From his beard to his boots he was covered with ammo
Like a big fat drunk disgruntled Yuletide Rambo
And he smiled as he said with a twinkle in his eye,
"Merry Christmas to all - now you're all gonna die!"
