Slow healing wound on toe went from bad to worse. Switched out old shoes for another pair and it immediately took a turn for the better. Waiting on Orthotics to schedule me to be fitted for a new pair of custom made diabetic shoes, of which has to be cleared through Medicare first. Sorry to hear you got hurt, and hoping you're feeling better. Sounds like you've been real busy, and congrats to your daughter for her achievement! I haven't gardened in about a decade or so, but I do have a hanging basket on a shepherd's hook in back yard next to driveway (woo hoo! xd ). I've been picking a half dozen or so ripening red, orange and yellow "cherry" tomatoes every few days or so. Yummy in salads! 4laugh

You have a response mail/PM from me, and you need to open it ASAP. Supposedly, any unopened mail/PM's still sitting in the senders outboxes only have a 2 week life span from the date they were originally sent ... or so that's the way old Gaia used to be. Don't know if that still holds or not. sweatdrop

eek Oh wow, busy lady you are! As you may already know via killa, my daughter and her roommate moved back home a month ago and are staying with me for awhile. They've been helping around the house quite a bit, doing a whole bunch of cleaning and yardwork, of which both were greatly needed. sweatdrop Eventually, I'll have to sell this house and get a place that's more handicapped-friendly, so we'll be working on downsizing a lot of stuff that has accumulated around here over the years, and have yardsale(s) and/or donate the items I really don't need anymore. I also have arthritis, mostly in my knees, and my doctor put me on glucosamine chondroitin a couple of months ago, and it's has helped quite a bit. Other than that, I've just been trying to tolerate the summer heat and keep off my feet as much as I can.

That's cool. I have many flowers planted as well. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to do much in my yard over the past several years due to medical issues. Have to stay off my feet as much as I can. But I do love it when everything starts turning green and blooming. 4laugh
