Not really...

You know my cat, Rusty, the broad shouldered cat who I said was a softie?
Well my parents said he was too sick
[he really didn't look that bad, just a little mangy. but it didn't seem like he was suffering or anything]
and so my dad... y'know, got rid of him.

And then I found out that my one friend, the "ham" one.
she's the only one in her family who has a job because her mom's work kept lying to her about why they wouldn't let her put her mum into the nursing home.
and on top of her being the only source of income, her dad has some pretty advanced [prostate?] cancer,
and she said that the doctors said that he won't be here by this time next year.
So my heart just really hurts for her.

And then there's the whole "I still don't have a job" thing.
It's fine if my parents don't mention it.
But when they start talking about me not having a job, or why I don't.
Or "you should just apply here" or "none of that, 'I'm too shy' stuff"
then I start feeling like I'm pretty worthless and a sorry excuse for a daughter.
I mean, my brothers all got jobs relatively quickly. And then there's me.
Like, the only reason [right now, or the main one at least]
that I want to get a job is so that I can better take care of my cats in the way my parent's refuse to.
Because they don't believe in taking a cat to the vet or spending money on pets for things other than food.

I don't mind being shy, it's just... I don't know how to "assert" myself, and my confidence is pretty much nonexistent.
I think it has some to do with my image.
Like, I don't want to seriously change or whatever, but I don't feel comfortable in my own skin.
Right now, I look like the girl my mom wants. Not necessarily what I want.
This look doesn't feel like me, you know?
So I don't have a problem with being shy, I've come to terms with my shyness...
But, y'know...

wow, this is kind of long...

Four years, and then you take a GRE test (I think that's what it's called)
and if you pass that then I think it's another four years.

Should I redo the coding, make a form - and then just make us a new search thread?
Or like, not a new thread; but just replace the current coding with new coding?
Maybe use your first post as the "open" post, and the current "open" post as a place to put the form?
Does that make sense?

Or should we just leave it be?

High school was actually better then I thought it'd be, the people who used to bully and pick on me in school were nice to me. At first it weirded me out because I was in a really dark place back then but now it's like all the pain and hurt is gone. Like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders, you know what I mean? Yeah I know what you mean, little kids are just easier to talk to and they have more energy/enthusiasm razz

Yeah that's true razz Well I'll be honest with you it can be hard at times but because I've adjusted myself to living out there it's not as bad I keep in touch with everyone though and I do Skype with my siblings because it's the only way they can see me besides pictures of me on facebook x3 Yeah middle school wasn't exactly the best place for me either I felt like I was legit living in hell but that's in the past now so I'm not holding any grudges and what not. I do however love working with children and it'll help me improve my experience and skills spending time with them each and every day, thank you very much I appreciate that very much smile

That's a really good question, I like the hobbit and lotr altogether but i like how they make legolas's character in lotr better because he's less of a jerk/show off razz Yeah it's nice to have me/girl time i'm glad i got the opportunity to see some familiar faces, yeah it is quite aways from family i flew on a plane to come visit my family. It was harder for me to leave my boyfriend then it was leaving my family because i adjusted/got used to living out there now it's gonna be the same when i leave then again i am quite the emotional girl x3 It's the middle school i believe, that's where his sister goes as well. Yay I can't wait to see the results! ^^

It's all good don't feel too bad about it smile My new years was pretty good, had some friends come over for supper then we watched the hobbit part 2 (we weren't really paying attention to the movie we were just talking to each other instead) razz Then 3 girlfriends of mine spent the night, then my cousin stayed for an extra night. I'm out visiting my family til the 28th then I'm heading back, and today I just got back from glow bowling with my sister kitty and 3 other girlfriends of ours. It was a very fun evening ^^ And to answer your question yes I am living with him now, and as soon as I get back I'll be applying a job at the school. The best part about that is his mom works there so I won't be entirely alone, I get nervous/shaky when I'm on my own that's why I prefer to be with someone because I'm less clumsy/intimidated sweatdrop

My Christmas was really good, got like 7 presents and got most of what I wanted even though I'd rather give then receive xD
I was wondering if you knew how to draw avi art really well, or knew someone that did because I want 2 of them one of me kitty my sister and you then another one of me and my boyfriend 3nodding
