lol Actually, that's the first definition of being handicap
ˈhandēˌkap/Submit
noun
1.
a condition that markedly restricts a person's ability to function physically, mentally, or socially.
My mental learning disability hampers and hinders my learning when it comes to certain things. You can't get a Handicap sticker in my state unless you fall under these guidelines.
cannot walk 200 feet without stopping to rest;
cannot walk without the use of, or assistance from, a brace, cane, crutch, another person, prosthetic device, wheelchair or other devices;
is restricted by lung disease to a specific standard;
uses portable oxygen;
has a cardiac condition to a specific standard; or
is severely limited in his or her ability to walk, due to an arthritic, neurological, or orthopedic condition.
Although many people, such as new mothers, people with minor injuries and others, can obviously benefit from the use of disabled parking privileges, each case must meet one of the six criteria listed above in order to qualify.
If you think any of those guidelines are the sole reason what makes a "disabled" person I can never understand that uneducated view. Although that's just me asking I don't know if you really think that. Just like you're argument with Mandrakk where most gamer's don't want to show off their skill, most people with disorders/disabilities don't want to show that they haven't one unless it's physically being shown. I bet, if we met on the street you'd have no idea that I had one because I look perfectly normal on the outside.
I just honestly don't get people who make that kind of generalization or assumption. Especially, when it comes to people using the term "Autistic" as an end all answer for stupidity. When all it means is a disorder that differs case by case but generally it means that you have problems socializing and speaking verbally. Then there's those that think "Do you have an extra 21st chromosome" Which only means a person would get downs syndrome it doesn't exactly mean that they're stupid. People also made the term 'retard' as an answer for someone being stupid.
Now his topics might be overall the same with slight differences but I wouldn't say he has a disability unless he says he does. It's honestly an insult to people who really do have a disability/disorder to cope with if someone thinks someone has one without actually knowing. I actually reported his little 'rant' about people who must have some sort of mental dysfunctions because that's OBVIOUSLY the answer of why people don't appreciate his topics. I just don't like disorders/disability being wrongfully "used" even at the expense of someone else.
Anyways, are you into Dark Souls? Or did you just see my status and use sarcasm? lol
