sweatdrop To be honest, mine weren't the most impressive either (depression in high school, haha). It takes about an hour to complete, no questions about your grades included; you should definitely give it a try. heart
D: You're right; that's not a good idea at all. :/ It's a very tricky disorder and given that it has had time to grow over the years, it's going to be even harder to cure. Dx I completely understand the feeling, regarding friendships and their apathy. If you have the means, definitely get yourself into therapy; people are generally the worst option when it comes to dealing with depression. For me, the most important part of healing was expressing what I felt and not allowing it to possess my mind. It's difficult beyond expression, but it's important that you try as hard as you can not to let it overcome you. :/
I'm also in jazz, Fidel. XD You should be my dance partner!
Have you tried applying for FAFSA? :3 College is extremely expensive and the Feds should be able to give you some money to attend. You can start off with about 3 classes like I have; just register at your college of choice. It'll say you're eligible for 5k or more, but chances are they'll give you less than that.
gonk I know how you feel. Depression is nothing to ignore, though. It can escalate and become very serious very fast. ._. People are generally inconsiderate and ignorant of its effects and aren't careful, thus the behavior of your friends. D: The best thing is to try to do other things like you are. Exercise can help to counteract it. And, hey, if you ever need to rant, I'm here. :3
As for me, not much has changed except that I'm a college student again and am now a ballerina. Feel free to laugh. sweatdrop
