:XD I don't think I'd ever retire from this place. It's served me well in the past for making new friends and giving me an outlet to post odd thoughts. Until they start charging you to join, I'll be here in some respect, so no worries of that. Plus, if I ever 'leave' for whatever reason you're one of the few people I'd have to give notice to and keep some sort of correspondence going. Would hate to lose contact with treasured folk like yourself, who mean so much to me, even more than friends within my actual reach.

What you dread, I look forward to. I really need to get off this Island and into school myself; a task that I've been preparing for (Financially atleast) for damn near 6 years if not more. I need a change of pace and that's the most convenient way for me to bring it about, short of just up and moving. Also, you aren't dull. You're just different. Like myself. Parties like those I mention would seem like good fun and revelry but in actuality I just find a corner, sit and nurse a drink. I'm not cut of the same cloth as the people down here, where I'm born so I don't particularly like the sort of things they engage in, especially at events like the one I came from hours after my last post. I'm not bored at the but I'm definitely not having the time of my life, but I'm with friends so it isn't all bad. Other than that, my social life here is pretty much non-existent.

Yeah, I still work at the lumberyard but I don't think the wood has the smell you're thinking of, since we sell it and not make it. Or maybe my nose is closed to the smell of the whole thing, with this being a job that has been serviceable and not particularly enjoyable for me over the years. It's not a job I want to grow in since it's not an actual career as opposed to being a position that requires manual labor. It pays well, especially since my bills aren't so large that I'd need higher wages so It's alright, but I'm not staying in it. Maybe I should sniff the pine at work to make sure that I'm not missing out on what you'd consider as favorable, but then again there are so many other unfavorable smells there, I keep my nose closed for fear of injury.

Moby d**k's nice enough but it's a terrible bore in certain parts where you hear less about the narrator's adventure and more about the scenery and other minute aspects that comprise whatever he's talking about at the moment. The english in it certainly takes a lot of getting used to, especially for those who don't or in some cases can't read books. The symbolism and stuff is lost on me until it's pointed out, however the story in itself is very interesting and it's that which I read it for. I think I've read a few books by My Grisham but I can't recall them at the moment but I'm quite sure I enjoyed them to a point. I begin to think that alot of those Authors fabricate their backgrounds the same way they create their fictional tales, but then again some people really do go for the gusto and bounce from interesting jobs like that all the time before settling down and writing stuff. Good for them. We should too. Let's be pirates. :pirate:

All in all, I'm decent as stated before and I reiterate that I'll never leave this place without giving you word short of sudden demise; a thing I hope never comes to pass for either of us. I hope by the year's end I'll be on my way to someplace new, with the hopes of getting an education, second and a new spin on life. I feel like as if I've fallen into a base routine of working, coming home and staying in my apartment before I go to work again in the morning. Nothing super interesting and outside of small gatherings with my small group of friends, nothing much more. Vacation is coming up soon to bust the monotony of that up, if only for 2 weeks and travel is always welcomed on my part, if only to leave this place for anywhere else. Thanks for the kind words. why does that confuse you? I have my own money, just no source of income. I save every cent I get, and rarely buy anything. most of the time if we get something ordered out for dinner, I pay. (bc she can't...)

they did, she didn't keep to them. bc she's worthless.

I don't, but that's less stress than going through legal stuff.

unfortunately, my mother is an idiot and didn't keep to monthly payments. so there's interest.

it's more the legal aspect, not getting the work done.

we owe them a ton of money from the work though. and it's still not paid off. (stupid dental insurance refused to cover anything)
I really don't wanna have to go through any of that stuff personally. too much anxiety.

not that I know of. though I did research on the "lifespan" of such fillings. which is up to 5 years.
we're thinking about it, but idk.

don't think that's possible. but we're considering it.
it could just be a limitation in the type of filling used.
that, and we can't afford the dental work or the lawyer.

worrying me. seems like it's getting worse.
I realized that only the teeth that had a very large amount of reconstruction are getting damaged. which means this one, the other front tooth that already lost the filling, and my OTHER top front incisor.
