oh thats INCREDIBLY valid i used to spend like 24/7 on gaia when i was 13. im only semi active right now because im trying to get the achievement for logging on 30 days in a row, i definitely expect my activity to peter back out after that

omg yes those gold generators I completely forgot about those. Wow. xd and really they got rid of MCs? I can believe it but that also shocks me. So many items get released everyday I can barely keep up. I thought they still had them though. Or maybe they got replaced with Jump start to whatever

Yeah. Like I don't want to see Gaia go away. But also, the site is definitely very very different then before. I don't know much about politics nor do I know much about running a website, but it does make me wonder how it got to the point it did now. Especially since in the past, GC didn't exist at all. Only MCs. Not sure where the "all of a sudden" per say money need came from. It is not like Gaia was racking in the money before from users before so why needed now? Maybe you know the answer more than I do.

The change would have to construe decreasing the amount of GC offered, not re-releasing items, and creating less items (in my opinion anyways). But those changes are nearly impossible. I stilll enjoy coming on for a little bit everyday and changing up my avi and discovering new items. The fun of the MP and the stabilization of it though is my biggest thing personally.

yeah I read that too with platinum and that is the only reason why I switched over. That and I can not deal with all the zeroes with the billions and whatever lol. I think I just took a little too long of a break that it really screwed me over because when the conversation happened I was so poor- but I knew I wasn't that poor when I left Gaia before. I felt my heart drop a first but then realized it is easy to get platinum with the freebies. It makes me sad that less people come on. I know it is because they lost a lot of old people with the changes. But even with the changes idk...

I definitely do not have that much in platinum rofl I made the mistake of when I was on hiatus of keeping my gold and not investing in items. But I do have some good items I can look into selling too. And I would definitely have more if I didn't spend so much a day buying random stuff lol so I'm going to stop wasting my money. Let me know what you find biggrin and we can figure out a set up. It would be fun to host with you a game! I just hope if it happens people get into it like it was before

If we can determine a good pure amount of platinum/gold, I do not mind spending it on the game. All I do anyways is buy random items and do whatever. I feel like the excitement of all the new stuff is starting to wear on me and I feel like it would be more worthwhile hosting a game and having fun. And meeting some new people 3nodding

your current avi is amazing I love the color scheme and the items you used. I haven't played too much WoW but all I hear are good things so maybe some day! I play a little bit of Guild Wars which is very similar to zOMG as well. And yeah, with inflation and now platinum I have no idea how much gold/platinum is enough to like give people incentive to want to play. Items are all over the place now. Things that use to be worth while and good investments get re-released and I feel like it is pointless to try to work the marketplace/exchange. Good and bad I suppose but weird because it is not what I am use to. I noticed there are a lot of new slutty items. Some are cool, some are a little over the top. I remember when almost none of that existed besides that Nice Style for Work which is pretty modest now.

I know exactly what you mean. I have met a few new people who are very nice and fun. I play zOMG a little bit too because that seems to be the only game really that I know how to play that is worth playing anymore. But not many others feel that way. I don't do too much- try to find items, make some cute avis, post in the forums a little bit, etc. I miss playing Death Note and such. I want to try to host another game but I have no idea what a good winning prize is anymore and I feel like not as many people come on Gaia in general anymore. Once my semester begins again I will have no time to come on. Grad school is tough and kinda kicks my a** a little bit, not to mention takes up all my time. But for now it's a fun getaway to come online whee What do you do when you come on, anything fun?

Yeah it's pretty recent. One of my best friends that got me into Gaia in the first place texted me about coming back on and now here I am lol It is very very different then the last time I was on sweatdrop there are so many new items, the marketplace is like barely existent and Gold is like ridiculously inflated so a lot to try to get caught up on
