Hi there! My name is Mark Chapman. I am from Fort Worth, Texas, but I'm currently an inmate in Attica State Prison serving a term of twenty years to life. I spend most of my days working as a prison legal clerk and kitchen helper; in my spare time, I enjoy reading and writing short stories. My favorite book is The Catcher in the Rye. I enjoy music by The Beatles, but I didn't agree with John Lennon's remark that band is more popular than Jesus.
Despite my excellent conduct record in prison, I have been denied for parole four times. If I am ever freed, I would like to find a job - maybe as a farmhand or a printer. I would also like to go from place to place, at least in the state, church to church, and tell people what happened to me and point them the way to Christ.
