I hope so. This job market is driving me up the wall. I like getting to sleep in late, but I hate never having any money to pay for gas and student loans. On the bright side, I saw some peppers growing on my pepper plants when I went to water them this morning.

I wish I could have been there! I'm currently going through the job ads in the Sunday paper. It gives me about the same sickening feeling I used to get when I had to write lesson plans for my education classes.

I'm glad you're having fun with this! I think the avi you came up with looks great. But, I agree. The Watchmaker would make a great addition to any steampunk avi. I added it to my wishlist, so hopefully some super generous person with deep pockets will decide to randomly gift me. blaugh It's happened before, so there's always a chance, right?

Also, remember that steampunk has little to do with how history really was. It takes it, ads an element of fantasy and technology way before its time, and then puts it on steroids.

There is already a character description in place, so you just have to fall in line with that character. Technically, the character you're supposed to be playing was designed to me male, but I don't think anyone would complain if you wanted your character to be a girl.

Yay for more money! Get a jar and start saving a little here and a little there. The deadline for the cheap passes has already gone by, so now it's $40 for a three day ticket. If we were to stay at the hotel for three nights to avoid the registration and check-in woes, it would come out to be $40 per person for lodging. (They add $15 to the total hotel fee for every person over the initial two person amount, so they would be tacking on $30 for four people occupying a room.) Then, there's gas, food, and souvineers. I would say that if you're able to save up $150, you would be well on your way. Just let us know if you can come for sure as soon as you can just in case the hotel fills up.

It's amazing! xd I can load everything lightning fast, and I can stream any anime on any site with zero difficulty. biggrin I got this laptop for just $350 at that! To tell you the truth, I'm glad my old one died. xd

Btw, I don't know if you are still open to considering AWA at this point, but I found a hotel for $38 per night that serves free breakfast, and that doesn't make you get on the interstate to get to the convention center.. whee

I'm not even sure what I sent you. Sites change so often, it's hard to keep watching anime in the same place for more than a few months. Basically, if you don't watch it right away, there isn't much chance that it will be there when you want to watch it. I came into that problem several times with series that I wanted to watch, but couldn't stream due to my slow computer. Anyway, I found the link, and the site had already been taken down. xp

Hey, did I happen to give you a link to where you can download episodes of Hetalia? I know that I gave it to a couple people, and I lost the link when my computer died. I got a new computer, and it's amazing! The only problem is that now I'm trying to piece back together all of my bookmarks.
