Oh! I really miss it!
But I ADORE the snow where I live now!
I went to John McManus k-12, Bidwell JrHS 7-9th grade
and graduated HS from PVHS!
You know what I miss - like SO bad?
La Comida!
I'm addicted to their Tostadas with House Dressing!
Heaven! and their Guacamole! Buenissima!
You really never expect what is essentially Fast Food -
to not be so
Magnificently Terrific!
My hubby is from Redding - I've got him hooked like crazy, too.
I also miss Bidwell Park.
It was so much safer when I was a kid.
But then, wasn't everything?

Want to know something kinda .... dumb, I guess.
But I never, ever knew how much FUN these little people are!
Silly, isn't it? My own mom only likes babies -
She has actually said that many times -
I'm so glad we didn't start our family until I liked both Babies AND Children!
I do especially love that "Newborn-Parasitic-Stage" - it is so special!
But these little people learning so many things so quickly and saying the silliest things!
Heaven must be a lot like that.

~ I'm so happy to meet you! ~
I went from K-6 at John McManus School, 7-9th Bidwell Jr, 10th-12th PV High!
My 4 kids were born there! My hubby and I lived there for awhile til work drove us to Sacramento.
Now we're in Utah. Long way for 4 little ones to travel. I miss Chico, desperately sometimes.
So I named this account Bidwell Perk, in hopes that someone like you would say exactly what you did!
Having 4 kids makes me sound old - but our son was 11 mos old when his twin sisters were born!
Then, the week our eldest turned 4, our last was born.
-BOOM!- Instant Family! -
I wouldn't have it any other way!

YAY! Somebody Got it!
My Hometown!
Even my Mom was born there!
I lived there to leaving for College!
Came back,After a bit, met my future husband! (not from Chico )
Got married and moved to Sacramento!
Miss it so bad, that I HAD to name myself this!
So glad you noticed!
