I dunno.... I think the bread attacked me xd Nah nothing bad... but you can understand the apprehension for razor blade looking glasses xd Awww no... it sounds like you get them more than me. Mebbe keep a headache diary and note down what you'd been doing before it happened, then you might see a pattern?

Yup ridiculously expensive... the house next door... which is tiny in the middle of lockdown went on the market for £230k and sold within a month! eek downstair is one room then upstairs it had 2 TINY bedrooms and a tiny bathroom! no garden, no parking space... it's nuts!!!! It's more of a long term goal... but it's the first place I've ever lived which hasn't had a garden! I missed it even more during lockdown at least at old houses I would have had a garden to enjoy.

It is a great place, I love it. It's also really popular as it's where part of Bram Stoker's Dracula was set and they also have Goth Weekends which are insanely popular (all accomodation is booked up at least a year if not 18 months in advance) Well there's the Magpie CAfe which does some of the best fish and chips... but there normal is like a large anywhere else so you don''t order a large unless you have a mahoosive appetite!!!!

I survived my last day!!!! Had a chill evening as I was super tired! Currently watching Paddington xd

Oooh that sounds good and it's nice for you to actually meet the professors and an open bar... yay!!!! Did you have a good time?

Exactly.... it's just what I need I think... Whitby's beautiful as well... with some great places to eat. I've also been to Whitby lots over the years as my friends Dad, who was my Dad's best friend, had it before he passed away so we used to go up lots when he took it over and help out a little when he was away. I don't know what I'd be looking for.... I suppose I could google what dino footprints are meant to look like confused

Well thats what I read... it affects the relfective index or some such sciencey terminology xd Why's it too late usually? sad The summary folder basically gives youa summary of your working ewek... tells you if you've worked outside your working hours (bad thing) who you email most, new contacts etc. I think part of it is to give you a more work life balance and allow you to work out if you need more time to focus. I have 2 hrs scheduled every day where it marks me as busy 3nodding so kinda helpful but not necessary! One day to go!!!! I'm so ready for it... although one of the girls in my office has tested positive for covid!!! gonk My lateral flow came back negative though! confused How's your week going? heart

I have two modules left to study to get my degree.
I'm doing it with the Open University so I've studied all sots of different stuff.
This year I'm doing Children's literature.
When I'm done I'll get a BA(Hons) Open Degree.

I can't remember the reasoning behind it... mebbe because of the screen flicker (like how its all wonky if you take a picture of it) I just accept it and I do know alot of people who have required glasses within a couple of years of working full time with computers... judging by my parents who both required glasses for reading as they got older I may need them but hopefully I'll be ok for a few years yet. Ugh thats another thing... I'd have to find frames that suited me and thats hard enough with sunglasses sad I think I just have an awkward face xd Oooh they sound cool although I'd probably injure myself on them or something else equally ridiculous!

Or they're currently waiting to be replaced... this is what happens when they say I'll sort it... it doesn't get sorted sad Well that's fairly good news... open the house up? Yeah you'll definitely want to get it fixed before the cold weather sets in! Ugh modern houses suck... we've got exposed dark wood beams and everything xd I love it!

Well you get more extreme weather so you definitely can have an excuse for more than 1 coat. Awww you don't want a falling apart thick coat... that won't keep out the cold sad It's a walking coat so wind proof and water proof a couple of sizes too big so I can wear a thick jumper if i need to underneath.

Yeah, well they'll be busy running the B&B so I'll probably only see them in evening... no fixed plans... walks on the beach... might go for a paddle xd and definitely going to the Abbey. It's amazin and so atmospheric especially on cold rainy days! Oh and a trip to Robin Hoods Bay... small town nearby apparently they have dinosaur footprints but you have to know what you're looking for!

Awww that sounds pretty... and it because of the effect of the water on light which is why they look darker... a member of the public rang to ask why gravel was darker when it was wet rolleyes I guessed why but I did look it up to be sure. Although my answer of well the same reason clothes are darker would have sufficed I think xd Awww snow!!! It's been ok... quiet but that means I've been able to catch up and I found out about a secret folder on my emails that had like a summary of each week that had about 30 emails in it that counted so I'm down to 15 outstanding!!!! 3 days to go!!! heart

Apparently you blink a lot less when you're looking at the screen. I hope I never do too.. I can just about cope with sunglasses but I hate stuff touching my nose sweatdrop I'm sure that if I did need them I would learn to live with it.

Awww no that sucks... the joys of an old house eh? We have damp in the walls I thnk from tiles blowing off in high winds sad it'll get sorted though I'm sure... I'd still rather live in an old house than a new house... you need the character xd Awww bless you don't enjoy storms then due to worrying? I enjoy storms and heavy rain when I either choose to walk in it or I'm curled up inside all cosy... just not when I HAVE to walk in it. But just rain meh it's standard I don't think I even really notice it now xd

Oooh yeah that wouldn't be fun confused They don't sound fun. Awww that sucks, we don't have insurance it's because I think they found a link between computers and people needing glasses so if you work with them all day like I do work pays for you to have one test a year... you still have to pay for your own glasses 3nodding

Well yesterday it rained ALLLLLLLLLLL day! Awww you'd not like it here, it always rains! Awww well that sounds better and yay for no infection! Yeah it wasn't fun but it taught me not to ignore an infection rofl Silver lining and all that as they say xd

Haha it would have been funny if you'd seen them just after xd Yeah they're tea bags... I do have loose tea which you put in a strainer or something but most of them aren't decaf so I don't tend to drink them any more confused But even loose tea you can get little like infuser balls so you don't have to have a fancy tea pot xd

Awww you'll definitely want longer sleeves with it getting colder... still sucks that you have to wear soething you're not comfortable in confused

Yay for new shoes! I'm sure you'll be able to make a decision. Have you got a few that you are looking at to pick between or completely in the dark at the moment? So it definitely sounds like your shoes were the issue! I love winter and being able to wear boots xd so much comfier!!!

Erm well I've got wedding stuff to sort and other than that might pop up to my mum's. My step dad made Lemon Drizzle cake and I loooove Lemon drizzle cake xd Awww no! That doesn't sound fun... give yourself a reward for like very 20 pages or chapter you manage as an incentive to read it xd

Haha definitely more fancy than me and my friend being dropped off and picked up by my parents. Things may be better by now,.. still sounds sucky... I dunno what I'd do if I needed glasses... contact lenses in some way seem more convenient but more effort if that makes sense confused Not needing them I couldn't comment what it's like over here and because I work with computers work pays for 1 eye test per year 3nodding

Haha it's been tipping it down most days this week but as I said because of my mum I've had a lift back so its only going to work that I've got wet through. Awwww be careful if its rubbed the skin away! it wasn't long they rubbed the skin away and then that got infected... I just didn't do anything about that sad then it got infected and in the end my old work made me go to the doctors... worked out for the best... I missed the shop flooding xd

They are yummy... I don't think I;ve tried the 3 cinnamon one although I think I've got one to try from a box of them with multiple flavours a bit like a sample box. You're not missing anything not being able to get Peace although they might not be available as I think they are new flavours. Joy is yummy though xd

Awww you need to sign up for their newsletters I'm sure they notify you when they have a sale xd I think I signed up after my friend told me about them xd Awww I'm sure just a normal shirt would be ok wouldn't it? I'm sure you look professional anyways 3nodding

Waffles and berries were amazing!!! Soooo yummy... well mimosas sounded more appropriate for a day of drinking than cocktails or straight prosecco! From everything I've seen its WAAAAYYYY more fancy than my jeans and a top xd I don't think we ever really had a dress code for anything but school, then again it was the students who booked and organised it all 3nodding That doesn't sound right... maybe they supplied you with wonky contacts... not that I can comment it's not something I've ever had to deal with?

Online shopping!!!! There you'll find anything you want!!! You have an umbrella?!? You're doing better than me! I just have a coat... I always lose my umbrellas!!!! I even lost my minions one cry Put a plaster on the back of your heels it will protect them from rubbing!!!! Although you'll only have 1 day left but its better to protect them... I rubbed the back of mine once on new shoes and then it got really badly infected gonk had to have antibiotics and everything!

Yup, fair trade and organic.I have Feel New, Love and Night Time. Also my mum bought a couple of other ones Peace (which smells like mint sauce and is a bit emotion_puke ) and Joy which tastes like candied orange heart

Yeah, other exercises you can vary or do different ones you don't tend to spend a few hours doing the same thing over and over 3nodding Lol but surely if you need them its not bad to buy them! Fingers crossed you get your check by the end of the week!

I just swiped one from the cupboard xd Pukka Herbal Teas is a UK brand of different herbal teas. I have a few of those I drink daily including my sleepy time tea heart

Mebbe it is harder and I am used to it and not thought about it. But in terms of you body its will make your muscles tighter as there is no variation in stride so especially your hip flexors will get tight. It will be a combination of both I expect... things get easier as you do them again and again. Oooh your shoes could easily cause an issue if they aren't giving you proper support. When do you get your cheque? Yay for books!!!! heart

Not really at work sad it was easier today as I've been more sensible the past 2 days so was actually walking easier tonight... still let my mum give me a lift home.

We're being optimistic it will happen!!!! Lol. I've got a bottomless brunch with mimosas with people on Saturday.... gonk I will not fall over this time!!!! rofl Half way through the week!! YAY! How's your week going? heart

Nope, I think it was in the years after I left that I started to come in... we had a meal when I finished 6th form, and when we finished yr 11 we booked out a local club (claiming an 18th) and had a leavers party there but nothing like your guys proms. To be fair I'd just planned on the costume but then found the cat ears and who doesn't rock cat ears? xd Aww costumes don't have to be expensive... I know someone who did a bat costume and they hacked up an old umbrella to make the wings. Aww can't you wear contact lenses? Lol because we get so few trick or treaters we get lots of candy left over rofl

Well that's larger than a normal mug I'd of thought. I don't think my mugs that large! Why don't you get a school mug... surely you can pick one up near school? Yay for smart you heart haha I told you I had a ceffeine addiction xd I really do like my herbal teas... I drink Pukka Teas.

Mebbe it would be but I'm used to hills confused and its better on the hip flexors as you change your strides so they don't get tight and achey 3nodding Lol I do more wobbles now than falling over. it sounds like your gait maybe off? Or it could be your shoes? Yup they're not the most reliable but I can't put Lo down as a temp when I sign in unfortunately lol.

My leg was worse today... think I did too much yesterday sad I didn't even argue with my mum when she said she'd drive my home lol. Thanks... me too! I don't like limpng everywhere! sad

Lol I couldn't comment... alot of American things are crossing the pond these days now like proms and such. Lol it depends on my mood... one year I donned cat ears, and then got a white tshirt and wrote "This is my Halloween costume" on it xd I dunno I think nowadays follow the custom of if you don't have pumpkin outside then you don't want trick or treaters. There are definitely less of them when it falls midweek as well. I dunno even when I lived in a bigger town we didn't get many trick or treaters... although I usually forgot and then sat inside with the lights off hiding as we had nothing to offer them xd

I dunno... I'm not sure... I think our skulls are tougher than that... its more the effect it has on the brain most likely. One cup a day is not too much... that's fairly standard. I used to have a bout 6+ cups of tea a day and there isn't that much less in tea than there is in coffee. Awww bless you... but it helped you stay awake in class! I just ended up going to bed earlier lol. I slept better for not having caffeine. Haha it's worth a shot I'm sure xd Lol only herbal tea... I'm completely caffeine free now... I need my sleep too much to risk drinking it and being awake all night confused might be easier than using the complicated coffee machine you have!

I dunno if I walked a lot faster and because I'm use to the hills and varying my pace because of that it made my hip flexors tight as there was no variation in movement for the steps so I ended up with achey hips which I realised was from the flat walking! Mebbe try pilates it could be that your core isn't as strong... I'm accident prone and have always had a tendancy to go over on my ankles... you know the people that randomly fall over sideways ... that's me but since I started pilates my core was stronger which helped with my balance. Or mebbe you have collapsed/fallen archs? They are ones thaat just take the temp from the surface heat so the walk to work lowers the external temperature which is what is measured by the forehead thermometers... just one that others could easily exploit if they were aware of that.

I'm just a walking accident most of the time. It's still been stiff and achey all day and I was limping more by the end of the day! My mum insisted on running me home after work. I'm sure you could find something worse to do than reading if you wanted to wink

To be honest it's not something I've even looked at in years sad That sucks!

Nah! It's definitely an American thing, 3nodding it's becoming a bit more of a thing over here I think but nowhere near the same extent. In my area its only really fancy dress parties confused Trick or treating is more for the kids though so unless you are in an area with a lot of families it probably won't be much of a thing, we're off out to the side so any kids that do trick or treat don't head out our way, especially as there are a lot of holiday cottages.

Ribena is a blackcurrant cordial.... it's yummy xd

I think it could well be... but I dunno... its like when there is a change in the weather old fractures start aching more sad That probably is caffeine withdrawal it doesn't sound like you drink it to excess so you shouldn't get too bad withdrawal symptoms. I don't anymore but I used to... I just ran on caffeine previously sweatdrop now if I have tea in the afternoon it keeps me awake. I have them occassionally wink

That's just awful!!! Sounds so dodgy! You'll get better over time so it'll be ok... I was nevr very athletic but the more you do it the easier it gets! Walk weirdly?!? How so? Haha that is true but a hills still a hill!!! It's also weird to not be walking on hills, when I went out Lincoln way it was FLAAAAAAAAAAAT and going for a walk in an evening it was actually harder than hill walking as I wasn't used to it xd Yup! It tells me I'm not alive instead rolleyes stupid forehead thermometer!

Well I was out with the girls from work last night and mebbe got a little drunk and fell over sweatdrop twisted my knee and ankle so even walking is difficult today gonk I don't even know why I fell over stepped off a step and my legs just went. Hopefully your reading is enjoyable heart

Haha it did look good in the fog xd Nah, Halloween madness is more of an American thing I think, there is a pumpkin farm nearby where you can go pick your own pumpkin but that's about it as far as I'm aware otherwise it's just fancy dress parties and a few kids trick or treating... I get in sweets every year but we don't get many trick or treaters where I am. I think I only went trick or treating a few times as well as when I went with my friends round their village... nothing happened in the village I grew up in confused

Lol it probably shouldn't but when you've spent the past 2 years dieting you know these things xd I don't really drink soda either... just tends to be herbal teas and water for me and occassionally hot Ribena when I'm full of cold 3nodding

Exactly! I started making it all hygge earlier this year and then someone stare decided they wanted to redo the cellar (still not finished) and everything was dragged out of that and dumped in my hygge'd space scream

I don't get headaches often.. usually when a storms about or when I'mm stressed an ice pick headache I think its called... feels like someones ramming an ice pick into the side of your head. Hmmm... I dunno... I know I got headaches from caffeine withdrawal when I accidentally gave up caffeine... but that was because I was a caffeine addict and used to go to bed with a cuppa tea xd Dunno if the heat/cold method works for headaches but muscle aches and bad necks it does. I tend to use heat but occassionally cold has eased it more. I have a wheat bag i shove in the microwave and I get those cold patches... ooh cold might work for headaches as the cold patches you see tend to be aimed at them 3nodding

Oh no!!!! That sucks!!! Surely though they should have contacted you before withholding it if that was the reason they withheld it? Stupid people!!! Well think of the exercise. Haha I live in the Peak District steep hills is a way of life here xd but yay for sitting in the sun for a read nice reward for your slog up the hill! It will get easier though!!! It's warm in the sun at the moment over here but cold in shade and in the morning/evening. I have to stand with my hand on my forehead like a muppet for a couple of mins to register as mildly hypothermic every morning when I get to work otherwise it just beeps "LO" at me rolleyes just shows how easily it is to fool the temperature thing if you wanted to as well.

I don't really have any plans that I can think of. Other than sorting out stuff... might try to get out for a walk if the weathers nice, otherwise I've got a mat now for my pole so I can practice without worrying I'm going to injure myseld xd I am rather accident prone!!!! What are your plans for the weekend? heart

I know what you mean, but I would only use it for the few times I want to post something here like the tattoo for you to see xp Literally makes no sense as I expect more people moved elsewhere, they would have been better at least allowing something confused but it's the way of the world isn't it sad

That was a tumbled down old barn in the field... it looks so much better in the fog than on a clear day xd lots of those sort of barns round here confused

Awww I'm sorry, you can always make a cheat healthy pizza from wraps.. use them as a base sauce cheese and cooked meats then you put them in the over for 5 mins? I think 3nodding

It gained loads of attention a few years ago but basically anything cosy fits it, blankets, reading nooks, open fires, candles, hot chocolate 3nodding I love cosy!

Ugh damp bread... just the thought makes me want to vom.

Well my neck has eased off alot. It's not a 100% and if I twist it too far it still hurts but compared to just hurting non-stop this is a mahoosive improvement 3nodding Luckily it doesn't give me head aches! That would be horrendous! I hate headaches but I also try to avoid taking painkillers as much as possible so usually manage pain with heat and cold sweatdrop

Well you needed to relax and recover so that is definitely for the best that you had a chill veggie kind of weekend. Did you manage your hike over to HR for your pay? Don't they just pay you straight into your bank? You'll be super fit before you know it if you have to keep hiking over every week!

It's going ok, glad the majority of the week is over. Just need to get to the weekend now heart

I just need to find the best photo hosting site to use 3nodding I know I've seen some but meh need to find out which is the best. I was so jealous but her parents were about an hr away from Stumble so it was easy for them to meet up and I did get a piccie xd If I ever end up in their area I'll definitely give them a holla!

I think in the UK we're so used to it as the weather is so unpredictable we look but don't 100% trust it or plan by it 3nodding Fog is really atmospheric at times... ohh that reminds me... out in nature can be just as good as city lights wink

Oh I know what you mean... I don't think they made or broke me but it made life a bit easier you could treat yourself from them 3nodding it's worse where some places use them to make up peoples wages... that just seems wrong!

Meh I can take or leave them... I just feel its over hyped, even with fresh pizzas I'd rather have something else xd

It's still stiff but it'll get better... it's just annoying because I have got painkillers of my step dads that help relax the muscles and last time they sorted me out but they make me really sleepy and it makes it harder to get up in the morning and now it's dark when I get up it's hard enough to get up in the first place.

Yeah it's just stuff I don't want to be around if I don't have to be, I'm not a big drinker either but drugs just tend to mess up peoples heads and I know enough people who have taken them/take them. Most aren't people I want to be around. This is a very simple description of Hygge, in this concept a group of maybe 5 or 6 is more hygge than 10 if that makes sense.

Haha uncomfortably moist! Most definitely! No one wants soggy sandwiches!!!! They're just the worst emotion_puke

I think I slept on it funny and trapped a nerve sad it just makes everything more awkward just sitting isn't comfortable and I usually end up with a tense neck on the other side from holding it awkward... a few days of heat on it should ease it off though.

I just downloaded it to my comp... it's new it has no other photos at present... My old one is probably still usable enough to get anything off of it but it used to shut down randomly so I stopped using it... it was also so slooooooow it was close to being thrown out of a window!!! Haha I had a few photos from the year after I left here but also pics and avi art that I'd ordered. Mainly stuff from Nuffy!!!! heart Also had an image of her and Stumblefoot from when they met up xd

Haha yeah weather forecasts aren't always that accurate xd or not over here anyways. Yeah it's not great, you go slower so then you end up not being able to judge how far you've gone or where you are! I've not ahd to drive in it often but every time has been a nightmare and unfortunately when it gets foggy over here it doesn't clear quickly gonk

Yeah, although to be fair they have always had some regulars in it, you just don't think of it as such confused Also demand is maybe higher as people eat out more and consumerism is higher. It depends on the company a lot but it's fairer as otherwise the chefs who actually cook the food don't get tips etc. Yeah its harder when you don't use as much cash. I always tried to have some cash on me before covid since then I've not been out so much.

I dunno I don't dislike it's just one I can either take or leave, I feel it's over hyped! And because its super easy to buy a frozen pizza and stick it in the oven for less than 15 minutes and it's done!!!!

My shoulder and neck were in a mess though yesterday and I was in a lot of pain so I got out of going 3nodding I gave people a lift there and back, I wasn't in a place to hang around a load of drunk and in this parties case high people sweatdrop I'm not a fan of drugs which even if I had been in a good mood would have made me anxious! I'm happier with smaller groups of close friends than big parties of randomers sweatdrop I think that's why the Danish Hygge concept really appeals to me!

Aww bless sounds like it was the right decision for you. I don't blame you as I said you've been ill that saps your energy. Also saving the money means next time you can treat yourself a bit more 3nodding You'll have to have an outside picnic in the fog one day xd It might not be so badass... damp and COLD wink

It's been ok but sore... my neck still achey and holding it awkward yesterday has made the other side stiff gonk

Yeah I can see that now... it went on a rant about hosting so I just downloaded everything I had left on there... xd not that there was much although I had some old ZOMG photos rofl

Unexpected drizzles?!? Haha I don't think drizzle is ever unexpected over here xd Awww mist and fog is nice unless you're driving in it... then its horrendous... and so disorientating when it's thick fog!

Lol well cafe/restaurant work is common for school kids I was 12/13 when I started working in a cafe. Full time it as meant to be a temporary thing to decide what I wanted to do with my life but I moved out and the recession happened... not so easy to leave a stable job confused Ahh where I worked and I think it tends to be the standard in the UK, the tips are split between the whole team so everyone gets the same amount. You could always keep change on hand to be able to leave a tip.

Frozen pizza is my cheat night when we I'm too tired/it's too late to start a proper meal (usually shopping night) I'm not even that big a fan of pizza sweatdrop

Oh no!!!! Just how big is it?!? Mebbe not bringing it back every weekend then unless you want the workout confused

Ugh I'm really not feeling the party... but I've got to show my face so Ill go for a couple of hours and I'll be driving as I'm not bothered about drinking.

I worked in hospitality for 12 years full time and 6-7 years part time before that whilst I was at school so I know how much even the smaller tips quickly add up. I tend to try and pay cash for anything under £5, a lot of smaller independent places still have a minimum spend of that anyways so I tend to have a few pennies on me to leave a tip even if I do pay on card.

Exactly, so if they do cook it tends to be something easy like a frozen pizza rolleyes The Polish guy I lived with did a lot and encouraged me more to experiment. He was an amazing chef as well!!! *insert domo here*

Hmmm that does pose an issue, mebbe only move that at a weekend? Otherwise I'm outta ideas confused

AND the week is done!!! Although I have loads to sort out and a 30th birthday to go to gonk I'd love to cry off but I really can't! Hope your week finishes well!!

I dunno I might be wrong I'm just going on what my friends have got and I think I know one guy who has symbols and there might be a couple who have their kids names tattoo'd on them oh and the guy with the awful "I AM AWESOME" but other than that it's just the girls who have writing. Haha I have seen some truly horrendous ones with typos etc.

Stereotypes have to come from somewhere though xd I googled it and on average the UK had rain 156.2 days a year gonk Haha but if they were longer the year would be longer rofl Aww I do love autumn too! Crunchy leaves (when it hasn't rained are amazing... not so great when they're wet and slippy! I think public transport is bad everywhere as more and more people have their own transport, which makes the supply worse which means more people find their own transport.. catch 22 in a way. I had got to test level before so I had the basic knowledge, haing the right instructor makes all the difference the first one although really popular I didn;t gel with she expected me to just accept what she told me whereas if I have it explained why it made sense and I remembered. I think older you are more aware so will find other bits. Oh I never go to the penny and I also have a minimum I can tip so even if it's a £1.50 cup of coffee I'll leave 50p.

It just means nothing though if EVERYONE has them! Ahhh that makes sense, and I can see their value currently but not at the expense of other degrees completely, so I guess my feelings are the same as yours. It just makes me sad that it's the way the world is now sad

I picked up a few tips and it encouraged me to experiment more with my cooking even to if I bought a shop sauce I add herbs or stuff like wine in a bolognese. That's a good basis to starting 3nodding Practice is the best with cooking and experimenting, it's also good cause then you get to enjoy the food you've made. Chefs can be bad to live with though as well as they quite often don't want to cook after cooking all day!

YAY!!!! That's fab news!!!! Mebbe leave the big books on campus and ferry some smaller ones about xd Lol yeah but in a pinch it would help! ninja

The first tutorial is just an achievement but the wolf mask and rabbit masks are what you git for chapter 2 and 3 respectively 3nodding Hopefully it will be a good halloween event!
