Past the large green trees that speak of old age and long life, down a riverbed filled with sweet shining water and beyond the patch of gilded lilies one may find the shelter of the Golden Goddess. Carved into the rock of her doorway are Celtic symbols bidding welcome to any who shall enter. The scent of mead and freshly baked Belfast cakes waft through the large entryway inviting strangers to sit at the large wooden table at the center of the room. Each room is carved into the rock, the walls smooth and the floors appearing almost to shine like golden glass. Curtains of the finest fabric hang from each doorway keeping privacy where it is desired.

“Welcome traveler.” A voice a smooth as honey beckons.

Her long golden locks flow down to her waist in soft curls and her supple pink lips turn up in a warm smile. Her back is straight against the large wooden chair in which she is perched as her delicate hand motions for you to take a seat in the chair beside her.

“Come, eat at my table and share your tales with me.”

As you take a seat she pours a glass full of mead and pushes it towards you. Folding her hands in her lap she peers at you through golden eyes cloaked by full lashes. Her expression is still kind and you can tell she is interested in hearing what you have to say. She tilts her head curiously as she watches you glance around her home and exposes her perfectly straight white teeth in a smile.

“This is my dwelling, the only place I can or will ever call home. You are more than welcomed to stay as long as you wish. I ask for no tribute but to hear a little about yourself.”

She waits for you to respond but perks up suddenly and releases a melodic laugh.

“I apologize! How rude of me,” she places her hand on her chest and bows her head, “my name is Bandia, or Dia if you so desire. I am a lover of all things artistic and all things of the color gold. I have a few pets running around here who would love to meet you I am positive. Please, come stay a while with me and let us become friends.”
