Well I'll start by saying I've been around Gaia since Summer of '04, when I was 13. I stuck around until about age 15 when all my school friends started quitting this site. Without them it wasn't fun for me anymore, so I handed my account over to 2 friends. A year or so afterward I asked for my account back, dilly-dallied around for a bit, then became inactive.
When I hit 19 I decided to give Gaia another chance, with the same account I'd handed over. Focusing on doing art commissions and contests, I didn't become as successful as I'd hoped since I didn't have a drawing tablet or good software. In 2010 I said my "final" farewell to Gaia and officially closed my 6 year old account.
Now I'm back with a whole new account, the proper tools, and newly restored ambition of producing art for the Gaia community and hopefully beyond.
