I did have a lot of sugar this weekend. We did nothing but drink Dr. Pepper and hang out and eat junk. Why would we eat healthy things. It's all your fault. You didn't come over to see me! I'll talk to you soon.

Well, a friend of his commissioned me to draw this guy's characters (I never plan to draw characters again after this), only pointing me to the forum the stuff is posted at...and so I did the image...except I draw the girl with breasts since I was going off the avis, not other people's artwork. This apparently is a big offense for him, since his little Lolita girl character has breasts when he didn't write and design her that way...so rather than me getting asked to amend it to stay in line with the design of his character, as it was apparent the breast size detail slipped through the cracks during the commission process, he decides on taking the course to modify my work without my permission (which is copyright infringement and art theft since it's modifying my original work without my consent).

A little birdie informs me of this, so I tell him in the forums that my work is copyrighted and I highly advise against it...no response, so I send him and the girl who commissioned me for it that I do not want my art edited by him, otherwise I will take action...now, I kept addressing this is a stern, but polite fashion, with the closest thing to being an insult as "I doubt the sincerity of your words" and "she never informed me of the breast size when I was commissioned"...meanwhile, the guy who got the artwork is claiming this work is now his to modify since it was a transaction and a gift to him, as well as telling me I was a "shitty artist" during the process of this, attacking me as if I was attacking him for him "posting the artwork on the forums" rather than telling me telling him "don't modify my artwork without my permission, or there will be actions on my part".

Finally, something clicks into place for him when I tell him the equivalent of, "What, you weren't satisfied with this, and you didn't bother me to ask if I could fix it before making a rash decision?"...and he FINALLY tells me what he doesn't like about the piece...it's only been three hours by this point of my messaging him not to do it, him consulting with the girl that commissioned me, him insulting/threatening/mocking me, and rinse, lather, repeat.

After this whole process, I swear, I'm investing in an IP address tracker and phone number tracking, so I can tell the guy..."Look, stop being an idiot and reading this the wrong way. Obviously, text doesn't cut it for you, so let me discuss it with you."

I pretty much decided that I won't take commissions from anyone who finds out about my artwork through them...since I rather hate these Role-Playing, psuedo-goth types.
