About Leonardo
Leonardo is usually depicted to be the eldest of his brothers. In almost all of the turtle's appearences, he is claimed leader. He is the right candidate for this job. He acts a lot more differently than his brothers. He usually spends most of his time training, meditating, and discussing with Splinter. He is usually looked as a "Teachers pet". Splinter things highly of him. For better reason, he is very serious.
Personality
Leonardo usually keeps to himself. Usually training, honing his skills. He is very brave, strong and very skillful when it comes down to combat. This is why he is leader. He is a lot more disciplined than his brothers, which puts him that much further away from them. In the cartton series, he is depicted a little less "serious", for the sake of the cartoon.
Ambitions
Leonardo is always trying to improve in his skills. Wether it be combat, knowledge, or understanding towards his brothers. Being leader, this puta a lot more pressure on his shoulders than his brothers may think. Especially in the eyes of his brother, Raphael. Both seem to bicker, and fight against eachother quit often. Here, we understand that either turtle may not know so much about one another. Thus, creating constant conflict.
