I was profile-hopping a while back, and I found a Japanese girl who absolutely loved America, almost to the same intensity that Japanophiles obsess over Japan.
And people flamed the s**t out of her.
Her comments were flooded with anime fantards yelling things out like, "How can you not like Japan!?! That's my dream country, and you hate it?" and different variations of such, splattered with obscenities and ranging in length. There were also lots of people accusing her of not being Japanese at all, because it would be absolutely impossible for someone who was actually from 'The Golden Land' to hate it!
So, she posted a picture of herself and her younger sister. Standing on a street corner next to car plates and billboards that were all printed in Japanese.
And she was holding a sign with her username on it.
And these people still didn't believe her.
I honestly can't believe people like that. I mean, this girl was being seriously harassed, and for what? Saying that her home city over crowded, polluted, and boring? People all over the world complain about their home towns. It's not a crime if your government isn't Communist. What the Hell is wrong with these people?
