So you probably wouldn't have been taking German eh? You probably wouldn't have liked Arabic either but that's what I really wanted to take but it was cut from my college for some inexplicable reason...
I was just listening to the music on your profile and it's really amazing. I looked they him up on wiki and was blown away by the fact that he was composing in the late 1800s! some of what I heard almost sound like Jazz piano so I halfway expected him to be a more modern composer, although it totally makes sense that his music was so different if he had synesthesia.

Hooray for a new composer to add to my sad list for favorite composers! Chopin, Dvorak and Scriabin...

I saw it was a cosplay, although I can't say I know who Alexander Scriabin is...
Stay strong in your language studies! Not that I can really commiserate since I'm learning Italian and, thank god, there's no case marking, just lot's of tenses...
But yeah, Russian is a beautiful language. I wish I had time to take it...
