I am a private detective, the world's top detective. I never show my face to anyone. When I make my debuts it's with a computer screen that reads L and a mechanical voice. When I finally choose reveal myself to only a chosen few, not one of them was prepared for what they saw. I'm fairly young, love sweets and hate to wear shoes. I'm definately very serious and hate to loss.
When I start the Kira case, I immediately began the investigation with Light. As Light tried to prove his innocence, I get more proof that Kira is, in fact, Light. I even invited Light the join the Kira investigation in order to gain more evidence against him, but unfortunately Light was always three steps ahead.
My real name, Lawliet, is finally revealed in "How to Read 13", which is considered to be the 13th volume of the Death Note manga series.
