Master Acrobat:

Laura is an Olympic-gold medal class acrobat thanks her Covert Ops training.

Master Martial Artist:

Laura is also a formidable hand to hand combatant, with intensive training in numerous armed and unarmed martial arts techniques

Special Powers and/or Abilities:

As a clone of Wolverine, Laura possesses most if not all of his mutant powers.

Regenerative Healing Factor:

Laura's primary mutant power is an accelerated healing process that enables her to regenerate damaged or destroyed tissue with far greater efficiency than an ordinary human.

Laura's accelerated healing powers have been commonly referred to as her mutant healing factor.

Originally, the speed at which Laura heals is in proportion to the wound's severity; for example, she could fully recover from multiple gunshot wounds within minutes, Laura's healing ability has dramatically increased in recently.

Laura is now capable of fully healing injuries that result in massive tissue loss or damage such as multiple gunshot wounds, slashes, punctures, and severe burns within a matter of moments.

Laura can fully regenerate her entire body after having all of her bodily tissue incinerated down to her bare skeleton.

This power even amends psychological wounds inflicted as a result of traumatic experiences.

However, Laura's healing powers force her mind to suppress the memories, sometimes resulting in temporary amnesia.

Foreign Chemical Immunity:

Laura's natural healing also affords her virtual immunity to poisons and most drugs, except in ridiculously massive doses.

Immunity to Disease:
Laura's highly efficient immune system, which is part of her accelerated healing factor, renders her immune against all known Earthly diseases and infections.

Superhuman Stamina:

Laura's mutant healing factor grants her high immunity against the fatigue toxins generated by her muscles during physical activity.

Laura can sustain herself at peak capacity for several days. Laura has shown herself capable of fighting for over 48 hours, before fatigue begins to impair her.

Superhuman Reflexes:

Laura's bodily reaction time is accelerated to levels beyond the human body's natural limits.

She is like Wolverine is capable of dodging Cyclops' optic beams at point blank range.

Superhuman Agility:

Laura's agility, bodily coordination, and balance are enhanced to levels beyond the human body's natural limits.

Insulated Weather Adaptation:

Laura's body is highly resistant to certain elemental extremes, particularly cold, to the extent that she can sleep nude in sub arctic conditions with no apparent injury.

Retarded Aging:

In addition, Laura's healing factor provides her with an extended lifespan by slowing the effects of the aging process.

Although Laura is seventeen years old, Laura's retains the appearance and physical vitality of a girl that is no older than twelve years of age.

Superhumanly Acute Senses:

Laura possesses superhumanly acute senses that are comparable to those of certain animals.

She can see at far greater distances, with perfect clarity, than an ordinary human.

She retains this same level of clarity even in near total darkness. Her hearing is enhanced in a similar manner, allowing her to detect sounds ordinary humans can't or to hear at much greater distances.

She is able to recognize people and objects by scent, even if they are well hidden.

She can track a target by scent, even if the scent has been greatly eroded by time and weather factors, with an extraordinary degree of success.

Laura can also use her keen sense of smell to detect lies due to chemical changes within a person's scent.

These senses stem from, at least partially, her constant cellular regeneration, as are her enhanced physical capabilities.

Superhuman Strength:

Laura's Mutant Healing Factor enables her to push his muscles beyond the natural limits of the human body without injury, granting her superhuman strength.

Her natural strength is augmented by the demand placed on her musculature due to the presence of over 100 pounds of Adamantium bonded to her skeleton, which also removes the natural limitations of the human skeletal structure by allowing her to lift weights that would damage a human skeleton. Laura has been depicted with sufficient strength to break steel chains and she supports the weight of a dozen men the size of the blob with one arm.

Bone Claws:

Laura’s skeleton includes two retractable one-foot-long bone claws in each arm and one in each foot.

These claws are housed beneath the skin and muscle. Laura can, at will, release these slightly curved claws through her skin beneath the knuckles on each hand and/or form her feet.

The skin between the knuckles and bleeds, but the blood loss is quickly halted by her Healing Factor.

Laura can unsheathe any number of her claws at once, although she must keep her wrists and/or feet straight at the moment her claws pass from her forearms into her hands and/or emerge from her feet.

When unsheathed, the claws are entirely within her hands, allowing her to bend her wrists and/or feet when they are extended.

The claws are made of bone, unlike the claws of normal mammals which are made of keratin.

The bone claws are sharp and dense enough to slice through substances as durable as most metals, wood, and stone.

Psionic Resistance:

Laura reveals that his mind is now highly resistant to telepathic probing and assault due to high level psionic shields implanted in her mind by Professor Charles Xavier.

Equipment:

Weapons-

Throughout her life, Laura has used a variety of bladed weapons, most frequently daggers and, at times, swords; she is especially skilled with the long rang blades and weapons.

She has also wielded many different types of firearms throughout her careers as a top-secret operative.

Whiles she is highly skilled with firearms, she has stated on multiple occasions that she isn't fond of them and prefers to use bladed weapons.

Biography:

X-23's life starts many years ago at the beginning of Weapon X.
Dr. Dale Rice was running from Wolverine (Original Weapon X). He had gotten a suit case with a DNA sample of Weapon X as he was escaping from the facility. As he was almost away, he was stabbed through the chest by three metal claws and died with the suit case in hand. Dr. Martin Sutter had come too late and found his old friend's body. Martin took Dr. Rice's suit case, that Dr. Rice lost his life to get, and Martin promised his old friend (Dr. Rice) he would continue what Dr. Rice died to build. Martin took in Dr. Rice's son, Zander, and raised him as his own.

Many years later, Martin had taken over control of Weapon X. Zander is in charge of the new Weapon X project. Twenty-two of the new series of Weapon X failed miserably. Martin hired a woman, named Dr. Kinney, to help work with the DNA that Dr. Dale Rice retrieved before his death. Dr. Kinney was hired to help in an attempt to clone the original Weapon X.
The Y chromosome from the DNA strand was too damage to make a male clone. So, Dr. Kinney said the only way to make a clone was to make it Female. Against Zander's wishes, Martin approved it and Dr. Kinney went to work on it.

Late one night, Zander went to Dr. Kinney's room asking her where they will find a female candidate with the necessary physiology needed to carry the clone. When Dr, Kinney asked what he meant, he gives her a glance insinuating she would be the one to carry the clone. Without much choice she accepted.

Seven years later, X-23 trained with her Sensei in hand to hand combat.
They kept X-23's quarters at high temperatures to stimulate her development.
Zander waited for the day he could lace her bones.
Zander disapproved of how much time Dr. Kinney spent with X-23.
Martin overruled Zander and allowed Dr. Kinney to keep working with X-23.
Martin and Zander had been working on a "Trigger Scent." Zander told him it was doing better then expected.
Over time, the Sensei started treating X-23 less as a weapon, and more as a child. The Sensei spoke to X-23 in Japanese so Martin and Zander wouldn't understand what he was saying.

Dr. Kinney received a call from her sister, Debbie. Debbie told her that she has a niece and that she wanted to send her aunt something. Dr. Kinney was upset that Debbie cut her out of her life, and that Debbie didn't believe her about their father. Debbie apologized for not believing her, and said that their father is gone. She asked if things can go back to the way they were?
Dr. Kinney said they can't, and that her niece (Megan) can send whatever she wanted, but not to call her again.

Rachel told Zander that she's having a baby - and that it was his.
Rachel was married to Martin. Zander had forced himself on Rachel a few years back.
Zander coldly replied to just tell Martin it was his (Martin's) child.

X-23 was training with her sensei when Zander and two guards came in. Zander ordered her to come with them. As they took X-23 away, Zander went to talk to the Sensei.
He told him not to touch her unless it’s to strike her down in combat! And if he though he'd gotten away with speaking to X-23 in Japanese, that he's dead wrong, and that he can speak it Japanese as well.

X-23 was then subjected to very high levels of radiation against Kinney's approval.
Zander did this to start her mutation, which normally doesn't happen until the age of 13. They did this when X-23 was the age of 7.
X-23 almost died from the treatment, but it worked. A bone claw in each foot, and 2 in each hand, painfully broke their way through her skin.

Dr. Kinney begged Martin not to let Zander perform the surgery on X-23, saying he'd become too emotionally motivated in this, and that he'd lost it.
She asked if she could do it, and Zander could do the Adamantium Bonding.
Martin denied her request.

Zander went on with the procedure, denying X-23 any anesthesia.
When other doctors in the room protested that it was inhuman, he ordered them to leave.
He extracted each of her claws one by one. He sharpened each one then coated them with the indestructible metal Adamantium, outside her body.
She had recovered, physically.
She liked to pop her claws out and retract them, then pop them out again.

When it was time to test the "Trigger Scent", Zander put it on the Sensei's sword.
During their next training session, as the Sensei pulled out his sword, X-23's eyes turned red. She stared and him right before she lunged at him with all Six claws out, and in full rage!
When X-23 woke up, she was in a bloody room, next to her dead sensei.
As she cried over his body, Martin said to Zander, "Well, I'd call that a success.

Three years later, it was time for X-23's first mission.
She was to assassinate Greg Johnson, a man running for president.
She wore a skirt and a white shirt with a button saying "Vote Greg Johnson for President"
She had leg braces and crutches. When she asked to see the president, the guards said no. When they did she started crying.
When they called head of security, the head of security said she couldn't come in. When they told the head of security that the girl was handicapped, they still said no. When Greg Johnson's wife heard, she said to let the poor child in.
When X-23, Greg Johnson, his wife, and his kids were taking a picture: as the camera flashed, X-23 stabbed Greg Johnson with her left foot claw and killed most everyone in the room as well, before making her escape. Martin and Zander offered X-23 to the highest bidder. Every time they gave X-23 a mission, and a time limit, she beat them with time to spare.

When Rachel told Zander she had to tell Martin about Henry (Zander and Rachel's Child):
he slammed her head into the wall telling her to tell him nothing, and everything will be fine.

On X-23's next mission, Zander went with her this time. Dr. Kinney disapproved of this, but Zander didn't care and told her to take it up with Martin - but for now, to back off.

X-23 ran and jumped from a building, escaping guards. As she was almost to the pick up point, Zander shot the two guards with him and put a gun to the pilot's head. He told the pilot to tell everyone X-23 failed, and to leave. As they did, X-23 stood below looking up at the helicopter as it began to fly off. Zander tossed her his father's dog tags as he said goodbye. X-23 Popped her claws out as all the guards fired on her.

As Dr. Kinney sat crying at her desk about X-23's "Death," an alarm sounded saying someone, somehow, broke into the facility. When the guards aimed at the door waiting for the intruder(s) to come in, in walked X-23 with bullet holes in her suit.
Martin ordered Dr. Kinney to debrief X-23 on how she survived. Dr. Kinney happily accepted. When she sat with her, X-23 didn't say a thing to her. X-23 sat holding her arm. When Dr. Kinney asked to look at her arm, she saw 3 X slice marks on X-23's arm. With a shock of horror, Dr. Kinney asked her who did that to her. X-23 still said nothing.

Dr. Kinney was crying in her office when her sister called, again. As Kinney was about to ask her why she was calling (as she had told her not to), Debbie told her that her daughter (Dr. Kinney's niece) had been kidnapped. Dr. Kinney told her to wait, and that she'd be there soon. Dr. Kinney then realized that she was as bad as Zander and Martin - as she went into X-23's room, knowing X-23 would help find her niece.

When Rachel was about to tell Martin about Henry, Zander stormed in saying X-23 was missing. Rachel begged Martin not to leave her. Before she could say anything, Zander looked at her, telling her to saying nothing. As Sarah (Dr. Kinney's first name) and Debbie talked, Sarah tried to comfort her. X-23 went into Megan's room. She sniffed and smelled a man had gone into her room during the night and took her away. As X-23 went to the man's apartment, Dr. Kinney tried her best to keep up. When X-23 reached the apartment, she got changed into a Girl Scout uniform pretending to sell cookies. When he told her he'd get his wallet, he actually went for a knife to kidnaper her, too. She opened the box and there was a picture of Megan. When he saw it, he was going to kill X-23. Just as Dr. Kinney was getting worried about them, the man came crashing through the fourth story window and fell to his death. X-23 came walking through the door with Megan wrapped in a blanket, still shaken up a bit.

That night, after Dr. Kinney's long lecture, Zander drove Martin back to his house. Zander told Martin that he'd been working himself too thin. Zander asked him to sign over all control of the facility to him. With a smile Zander told him he already lost a father to the program and didn't want to lose another. Martin smiled at him and signed the paper, leaving it in Zander's hands.
After Zander was a few blocks away from Martin's house, he opened his trunk and X-23 sat there. Zander handed her a watch, and a picture of Martin, Rachel, and Henry. He told her to make it look like an accident - a fire. She had twenty-two minutes.

Rachel told Martin the truth about their son Henry. He didn't believe her. He smacked her and said that Zander wouldn't do that to her. As she tried to convince him, X-23 came in with a club and beat Martin to death as Rachel watched. X-23 killed Rachel the same way, and went for the closet where Henry was hiding. She put the club under his neck and looked into his tear filled eyes. She sliced Henry's Spider-man toy's head off, as a symbol to her choice. As the fire spread, X-23 looked down at a broken picture of Martin, Henry, and Rachel.

At the facility, Zander took her to the shower and used a fire hose to wash her down. He threw her suit into the incinerator. Zander then grabbed her by the wrist and told her to say nothing about this mission. She quietly sat down on the floor. As Zander walked off, X-23 popped out a claw. When Dr. Kinney walked in, she saw X-23 slicing into her arm with her own claws. She was the one making those Xs in her arm.

As she asked why, Kevin walked in and told her Martin and Rachel were dead, but Henry was found alive in the woods behind the house.
As she walked off, X-23 grabbed Dr. Kinney's arm. X-23 opened her mouth. Dr. Kinney saw a piece of paper in her mouth and took it out. It was a picture of Martin, Rachel, and Henry. Dr. Kinney realizes what a monster Zander has become and tells X-23 that she may have killed them, but the blood is on Zander's hands.
Dr. Kinney tells X-23 that she'll get her out of that place. X-23 asks "A Mission?" Dr. Kinney answers, yes, a mission.

Dr. Kinney goes to Zander's new office telling him it's horrible what happened to Martin and Rachel. With a smile, Zander agrees. They go for a walk. Zander tells her that he didn't agree with Martin letting the specimen bond with a mother figure, and that he won't repeat Martin's mistakes with phase two.
He opens a door showing over twenty-five clones in artificial wombs. Zander admitted to her that there were times he thought he would just kill her, but contrary to what she might think, he's not a bad guy. He then strokes her hair. She pushes him away. With a smile, Zander tells her to pack her bags and that X-24 through fifty won't need her. He then said to her that if she was not gone by morning, he'd have her shot.

Dr. Kinney writes some final words to X-23, telling her she that there is hope. She'd showed her they'd failed and that she's not a weapon. She is a child.
Dr. Kinney and Kevin shoot two guards outside X-23's room. A note slides under the door. It has a message Dr. Kinney wrote, a map of the facility, a watch, and a picture of Dr, Zander Rice.

Sarah (Dr. Kinney) and Kevin ran down the hall looking to shut down the cameras so X-23 could reach the chamber. Kevin was shot by the guards. As Dr. Kinney looked back, Kevin told her to go, for X-23's sake.
With a tearing eye Sarah ran as she heard a gun shot. She shot the guard and shut down the cameras. X-23 was able to enter without trouble. Zander was in the shower as he talked to one of Fisk's lackeys, offering him a Weapon - one of the many Weapon X clone pods. As he was talking, a guard told him X-23 has escaped.

X-23 kills a doctor. She then puts a bomb on each pod and sets it.
An army of guards aim at her. She pops her claws, jumps over the hail of bullets, and easily kills them all with quick speed. As Zander checks in on another doctor. He sees X-23 had killed him, too. When he tells a guard to check on the pods, a look of fear came over his face, knowing he may die if X-23 is there.
He sees X-23 on top a pile of bodies.
When X-23 goes into Zander's room, she doesn't see him anywhere. He comes out of his closet and shoots her twice at close range. When she hits the floor, he asks her disappointedly "Didn't we teach you better?" With a "yes," she slices the gun with her left foot claw. She pulls in her claws, and starts punching him. As she does, she remembers the abuse, the torturous surgery, and the time he left her to die at the hands of the guards.
Zander is helpless to fight back.
She turns to leave and he tells her she can't bring herself to kill him. She takes off her dog tags and calls him an "animal" and leaves him.

Just as she leaves, the building blows up. With a smile, Sarah is happy to see her and thanks God X-23 is alive. X-23 sniffs, her eyes turn red, and her claws pop out. Sarah remembers how Zander touched her hair the night before. She knew he had put the trigger sent in her hair so X-23 would attack.
X-23 stood over her with tears in her eye. With her dying breath, Dr. Kinney tells her that her name is not X-23 - it's Laura. Dr. Kinney's dying words to Laura were: "I love you." Laura laid her head on Sarah's body repeating the words, "Please don't leave me."

Two men came to the site a few weeks later, taking the trigger sent from Zander's dead hand.
Two years later, X-23 is in New York City wandering the street and was found living on the streets by a pimp named Zebra Daddy, who took her in and employed her as a prostitute. X-23 met Kiden Nixon, a young mutant with the ability to freeze time when in danger, and together with Kiden's teacher, they rescued another young mutant, the feral Catiana, from an angry mob. Zebra Daddy tracked X-23 down, but with the aid of her newfound friends and the mutant named Felon, Zebra Daddy's thugs were defeated. X-23 then killed him to save the lives of her friends. X-23 later took a job at the mutant-themed Wannabee's nightclub in the Mutant Town district of New York. It was there that she saved the life of the daughter of mob boss Don Parisi from a gang of thugs, whom she killed. The deaths inadvertently implicated Wolverine, prompting his teammates in the X-Men to investigate. X-23 instinctively attacked Wolverine on sight, but he was eventually able to calm her down, and she led the X-Men to Parisi's daughter. After aiding the X-Men against Parisi's super-strong mutant enforcer Geech, X-23 fled the scene. She later returned to help the X-Men save victims of a car accident, after which she was enrolled at the X-Men's Xavier Institute.
X-23 quickly became very protective of Wolverine, attacking his teammate Bishop after he felled Wolverine during a training session. She also took to observing Wolverine on the mansion's security monitors. During one such viewing, an anomalous energy spike prompted X-23 to investigate. Encountering Spider-Man (Peter Parker) at the source of the signal, X-23 initially mistook him for an enemy and attacked. The pair ultimately teamed up to save the young mutant Paul Patterson from an alternate reality version of the armored Avenger Iron Man (Tony Stark). The arrival of the heroic Captain America (Steve Rogers) and the super-spy Black Widow helped turn the tide.
X-23 then secretly followed Wolverine on his investigation of strange activity in the Canadian Rockies. Ambushed by the Hauk'ka, evolved Saurians from the Savage Land, X-23 managed to escape and alert the X-Men. Traveling to the Savage Land, X-23 and the X-Men teamed with the Land's lord Ka-Zar and his circumstantial allies, the Savage Land Mutates, to prevent the Hauk'ka from destroying human civilization by controlling the weather-manipulating X-Man Storm.
Sometime later, X-23 was approached by the cosmic Uni-Power in hopes of making specific use of her healing ability. Although she initially resisted its attempts to bond with her, and she remained reluctant even though it pleaded with her. She ultimately agreed to aid it and became Captain Universe for a brief period of time.

New X-Men
After the events of House of M, X-23 was one of the few students who didn't lose their powers. The depowered students and staff were sent home; however their bus was bombed by anti-mutant religious zealot Reverend William Stryker and his Purifiers. Subsequently, Emma Frost had the surviving students engage in a free-for-all brawl, with those deemed to be the best performers assigned to a new team of trainee X-Men. Despite Frost's attempts to omit her, X-23 was among those students who made the grade.
Shortly afterwards, following Stryker's attack on the depowered students, X-23 heard Dust talking to Icarus, who had fled the Mansion. Dust intended to meet Jay, but Laura told her it was a trap. She eventually had to knock out her roommate to keep her safe. Donning Dust's burka X-23 came to Stryker's compound and was shot. After a few minutes spent healing and playing possum, Laura returned to the Mansion to see it being attacked by Purifiers. Laura fought valiantly and helped fend off the intruders.
The kids grew to be more receptive of Laura following her part in stopping Stryker's attack, in which she single-handedly killed three Purifiers who had incapacitated Surge, Hellion, and Emma Frost. Subsequently, she started to bond with her friends, using her enhanced hearing to find out what happened to Icarus for them, learning that Stryker killed him.
After Surge received a distress call from Forge, X-23 followed the team along to Dallas to rescue him from the sentinel Nimrod. At the height of the desperate battle she managed to cut through to the interior of the machine with her claws, allowing the sentinel to be defeated. She was mortally wounded during the battle however, and unable to heal herself. In order to save X-23, Hellion supercharged his telekinetic powers in order to rush her back to the mansion where she was healed by Elixir.
As Julian recovered his strength, and found that his power levels were massively enhanced, Laura kept watch over him. Emma confronted Laura, asking her to leave the school because of the trigger scent. Their confrontation is cut short by Cessily coming to Laura's defense. Cessily pursues Laura, the two go for coffee and discuss Laura's crush on Julian. However, the cafe is attacked by Kimura and her minions. It is revealed that the attackers have not come to reclaim Laura, but rather to capture Cessily.
Laura goes back to the Xavier Institute; Hellion interrupts her as she is gearing up to attack against the facility. He informs her that he is coming with her. The two find a facility hide out; Laura interrogates a man at gun point. Upon securing the information she needs, X-23 shoots him in the head. Julian is shocked and tells her that killing will no longer be a part of their interrogation technique. X-23 looks at him, silently.
In World War Hulk: X-Men, X-23 aids the X-Men in their fight against the Hulk. X-23 manages to knock over the Hulk and tear his eyes out. Eventually his eyes grow back, and he then defeats X-23 by throwing her into a wall.
During Messiah Complex, the New X-Men were not told because of the Purifiers part in this. Once they learned, Surge led a team to attack the Purifier base in Washington D.C., where they were ambushed by a new team of Reavers, wounding Hellion. Realizing they were out matched, Surge ordered X-23 to hold of the Purifiers while Pixie used a spell to teleport them. When the Sentinels were attacking the mansion, Ice Man took the plane to bring the New X-men to safety Laura jumped out of the plane and attacked the Sentinels.
When Cyclops ordered Wolverine to assemble the X-Force, and X-23 was tossed into the mix. As they caught up to Cable, the Reavers attacked, and X-23 attacked Lady Deathstrike, apparently killing her. AT Muir Island, the X-Force attacked the Maruaders and Predator X. When Predator X swallowed Logan X-23 became angry and attacked, a Wolverine killed it.
Their next mission involved infiltrating a North Dakota SHIELD facility to route out a group of Purifiers who had infiltrated the base and stolen valuable technology required to resurrect the Sentinel known as Bastion. Disobeying Wolverine's orders and following Cyclops' orders instead, lead to the capture of Rhane who was later rescued.

Other:
Adamantium Laced Skeleton:

Not part of Laura's natural mutant attributes, Laura's entire skeleton, including her bone claws, is laced with the rare, artificial, and virtually indestructible alloy known as Adamantium.

As a result, Laura's bones are virtually unbreakable.

The presence of the Adamantium has further enhanced the already razor sharp edge of Laura's bone claws.

Aside from being practically indestructible, the claws are capable of cutting any solid material, with the known exception of Adamantium itself and the material of Captain America's shield.

However, Laura's ability to slice completely through a substance depends upon the thickness of the substance and the amount of force she can exert.

The Adamantium also weights her blows, dramatically increasing the effectiveness of her punches and kicks.

Transportation:

To slice completely through a substance depends upon the thickness of the substance and the amount of force he can exert. The Adamantium also weights his blows, dramatically increasing the effectiveness of his punches and kicks.

Laura like Wolverine commonly uses a motorcycle when she is acting as a solo agent.

She has access to the X-Men Blackbird whilst with the team.
