I woke up in a hospital bed, scared because I couldn't move and it was hard to breath.
When the doctor walked in I asked him, "What's going on, why am I here?"
He gave me a confused look then looked at his clipboard and said, "You don't remember? Well I guess that makes sense, you did hit your head when you hit the floor. A kid brought a gun to your school. Appairently your friend had a problem with some of the kids, and was almost shot - you had jumped infront of them, and took the bullet yourself. You're very lucky you didn't die. You're going to be ok, though, so don't worry."
I think to myself 'I'm happy I took that bullet for you, because it would've hurt even more to see you lying in this hospital bed.'
