About
A man of many names yet only one true destiny...
My name is Krys. I'm 37. Polish born but American raised so to speak. Lucky enough to have a wonderful 3 year old and a beautiful partner that loves me unconditionally. I enjoy writing and spiritual work. Culinary school graduate with a love for life. Stubborn like the Taurus I am. I'm a pagan with a heavy Asatru influence. On a journey from wants or needs. Just trying to make my way through the cosmos while spreading peace and knowledge.
Recently I feel as though my path has led me to sacrifice many things so this is a reminder that sacrifices are not without reward...
"Vęit ec at ec hecc
vindga meiði a
nętr allar nío,
geiri vndaþr
oc gefinn Oðni,
sialfr sialfom mer,
a þeim meiþi,
er mangi veit,
hvers hann af rótom renn.
Við hleifi mic seldo
ne viþ hórnigi,
nysta ec niþr,
nam ec vp rv́nar,
ǫpandi nam,
fęll ec aptr þatan."
I know that I hung on a windy tree
nine long nights,
wounded with a spear, dedicated to Odin,
myself to myself,
on that tree of which no man knows from where its roots run.
No bread did they give me nor a drink from a horn,
downwards I peered;
I took up the runes,
screaming I took them,
then I fell back from there.

Hail Odin. Blessed be.
