They're both good as hosts even if Izaya needs... some work on his personality. mad Sorry, Shizu-chan just really doesn't like the guy hahaha! I'll bet Izaya as a guest would really give the hosts a hilariously hard time lol Especially the guarded host.

I'm actually kind of reusing Kise, a canon character I played before, for personality purposes for the guest I applied as. redface I turned him into a mermaid prince, though, but remained an attention-seeking playboy.

I see! It's hard to pick. I liked them both, actually. They're both great to have around. Owen's reliable and mysterious, so he's charming that way. Puck is magical and full of surprises - he's fun too! Owen makes a great host, I'll admit. Puck does make an interesting guest who can give the hosts contests he can conjure with magic. If you're going to sign up as a guest, you might find Puck a lot more fun to play. 3nodding Puck's probably good at RPing Kyouya if he ever tried to hahahaha!

Oh no no! whee I signed up as a guest, but I'm very sure I'm going to play a hand at trying to out-host the Princely Host. lol I'm totally confusing!

Oh, I know I did. Kaneki found him very reliable and reassuring to have around, for sure. The guests liked him too, from what I saw. Somehow I thought he really suited the role of a knowledgeable host, but even as a guest he'd be a really distinguished one, smart, but still quite playful (if there's Puck's personality surfacing). He's a bit like a stoic with a twinkle. emotion_kirakira Can't describe it, but I thought he was nice to have around. My inner Kaneki liked him a lot more than he did Izaya. Well, that's how he feels anyway! lol

I'll be expy-ing Kise, who'll give him a run for his money anyway, guest or not. lol He'll probably have to put this annoying guest in his place haha!

The closest I can get to Owen is Ronald Nox from Black Butler cry But he's such an a** that every expression he has on his face is... completely Ronald

This one reminds me of Puck. I've never watched the show though. This character is Makishima Shougo.

Yeah - I went on right ahead to apply as a guest, but while I see the mail out of the box already read, I haven't received a reply yet. In all honesty I doooooooon't think I'll be accepted given my poor track record. But we'll see! I'll give it a week before I move on. I saw it and felt Robin would fit in like a glove. He's resourceful and charming, really. He'll have so many people asking for him even if you didn't apply for the Princely Host slot.

I see, 1x1's huh? Glad you're able to manage them. 3nodding Yeah, three - they don't move very fast fortunately, and one has gone very quiet. The two I linked are fun in their own way. Mmhmm yeah, I'm actually not all that fond of RPing in general... though honestly it may really just be disinterest, since I'm not usually that interested in that sort of development, or ongoing story-lines for that matter, which a lot of B/C shops appear to be about. I'm an entertainer by nature. If I do RP it's to entertain someone. Ever heard of party planners? Folk who wear costumes and turn up at kids' parties and get the kids going "HOLY WOW IT'S BATMAN"? I'm that sort. :whee: It's like... if I see someone dressed as a particular character or posting about it, I hit up my dressup page, dress up as one of the characters they do like, and then just... (usually jokingly) play along. I like those reactions. My favorite thing is making people laugh! :whee: Or flirting. ;) Take your pick

Besides, I have a lot of pride on my sleeve. If I have a character, I 10000000% MUST draw it. :gonk: It's a disease. Can't just buy it. :emo:

I see! :shock: So it's really due to a busy schedule huh? I know at least two guests there who do miss the thread, but they haven't really posted there either because... well, it's dead. I think in the conversation it may be mentioned that one of them wanted to play confessions and love affairs and the like. You see, the Ouran thread we had was formatted in such a way that people were socializing, and the players actually learned to like each other too, as family and friends. I think that's why these things were tantalizing. The other RP threads didn't provide them that. I don't know how to describe it, but we were a social group, and the handles we played, they were, in their own way, also making "real" friends. It was like a reality away from reality away from reality. That's right, it was realityception :0a0:

Oh. Yeah. I've done script style before at one point. I even know people generate RP logs from that. :lol: But it was tooootally not my thing. I mean I enjoy jokingly replying as if a character would, but not strictly in character. Doubt you'd enjoy this barrage of replies like:

Mmm yeah! Improvising and going with the flow, making changes, laughing and correcting, that's the most fun actually. Now, I know this is going to sound mean, but I totally know what you mean when you say interacting with the guests in the club was boring. I mean, heck, they probably found each other boring too, and that's why most of them mostly popped up when a host was around. They were looking for you to drive what was going on, and if they wanted to drive it, their characters weren't fleshed out to drive things for any other character or event but their own. Oh. eek I didn't know that about Izaya! But animation companies usually do that - they have directions that don't usually follow the original franchise. So basically you would get to enjoy both separately and see them as two parts of the same franchise. yum_puddi At least, that's what I think it is heheh. whee

Riiiight? emotion_0A0 It's about customization too. And the things in between. A lot of thought and planning goes into B/C shops - as well as a lot of craft. It's insanely time consuming. RP's really manageable because you got to write it whenever, even on mobile, you didn't need to give pictures out. The only problem is if you wanted a picture for your character, but you can always buy those.

Mmm well, She's badwolf, to me she's Gou-chan yum_puddi I met her in the thread, but she doesn't often come to play. So you may or may not know her? yum_puddi She did find the idea fun though. So we talked about it. I think we all missed the main thread. I retired the dumb candy guy, but it doesn't mean I don't check once in a while.
