"Quiet yourselves! I hear something. Fandu-dath-belore!"
Skyrunner readied her bow, as her panther companion Shalla'tor sniffed the air and let out a low snarl. In return, a loud roar came from behind a nearby tree. The creature that had followed them here revealed itself; an unusually large bear, barreling towards Artizor and Xareen, talking so loudly that they couldn't hear Skyrunner's warnings or the roar. The bear, enraged, pushed down Skyrunner and glared down at her, in the process disarming her.
Instinctively, Shalla'tor let out a roar and lept atop the bear, clawing at it's eyes. The bear stopped, becoming aware of the assault, and stood up on it's hulking hind legs. The bear let out a cry of pain as blood ran down it's face, and went to rid itself of the nuisance. Raising a massive paw, it swiped at the panther, who had been preoccupied in defending her master, causing her fly a few feet and crash into a rock, and a loud snapping sound could be heard as Shalla'tor let out her last whining breath.
