My life

My mother, in life, was an Ishbalan. Now, she's known as Lust. My uncle, Scar is searching for me, even now...killing state alchemists and all who get in his way. My father, Scar's older brother, sacreficed me to try and bring back my mother. Weird thing is...I never crossed over...For years I stayed in the darkness of the gate...till one day...I some how got out of the gate...and I was...only an infant...some how...I'd gotten five years younger...A woman named Jessie-Lee found me and took care of me...years passed and she died as did her son, Keneth...Then Roy Mustang watched over me...years passed and he introduced me to the Elric Brothers...so they could protect me from the higher ups...Brigadier General Basque Grand had been after me for years...until he was murdered by Scar...Furhur King Bradley is also after me...as are all the other homunculi...So far Edward and Alphonse have done a great job protecting me...I am now 16...thing is...no onw knows that I...am no longer human...I haven't been for a long time...It was two years from the time Jessie-Lee died to the time Roy found out about it and started taking care of me...three days after Jessie-Lee died...Shou Tucker the Sewing Life Alchemist found me and used me in his experiments trying to create a chimera...he succeeded...and called me the most beautiful and advance chimera he ever made...I was the first human-chimera he ever made...he named me...Mist...even now, I remain a human-chimera... part cat... but I've never told anyone... not out of malice... but for the hope of the safety of the others...

Alchemy

Human kind can not gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. This is alchemy's first law of equivalent exchange.

Alchemy, the method of understanding something, breaking it down, and reconstructing it as something else. There are several different arrays called Transmutation Circles that can be draw in order to create a transmutation. To those unfamiliar with the practice, alchemy may look like a miracle. There are taboos in alchemy. The biggest taboo in alchemy is Human Transmutation.

Chimera

A chimera is an alchemical fusion between two or more beings. While the vast majority of chimera are a cross between two animals, some are humans that have been crossed with an animal, which endows the human with abilities reminiscent of the animal. Although most chimera take the form of an animal, there are rare occasions when a chimera looks like a human. Chimera are usually very hostile and dangerous, but there are a small few that are friendly. If you encounter a chimera, make sure it isn't a dangerous one before you get too close. Failure to do so may result in serious injury or death.

Ishbal

The Ishbalans are a religious people, characterized by their tan skin and red eyes. The majority of their population were slaughtered during the Ishbal Rebellion. The few survivors live as criminals and refugees in various slums across the country, usually leaping at the opportunity to fight against Alchemists. Be careful around these people, some have the unique ability to use alchemy.

Homunculi

artificially created humans who seek to create a Philosopher's Stone. They can be identified by their bearing of the mark of the Ouroboros somewhere on their body, usually in places symbolic with their identities. Each homunculus is named after one of the seven deadly sins. Homunculi lack the ability to use alchemy. The known homunculi are Envy, Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Pride, and Wrath.

Envy has the ability to take the form of anyone he chooses at will. Never turn your back on Envy, he could be anyone at anytime, so watch your back.

Lust "The Ultimate Lance" has the ability to pierce through anything, by simply extending her nails.

Gluttony has the ability to eat anything. He is normally seen along side Lust.

Greed "The Ultimate Shield" has no special ability, but can change back and forth between his human form and his true form as the Ultimate Shield. His true form has thick dark blue skin with fangs and claws.

Pride "The Ultimate Eye" can age like a normal human. Is also known as Furhur King Bradley. Wears an eye patch over his left eye, where his Oroborus mark hides.

Wrath has the ability to use alchemy, which is unusual for homunculi. He is slightly psychotic at times and highly childish. He wishes for a mother, and tends to be highly fond of the BrokenWing Alchemist, choosing her as his mother.
