You don't know any religious people do you? Because if you did you may not have been so hypocritical about them. You are saying that all of them are power-hungry and uses their religion to control others. In some cases (like the Pope and many Catholics) it's true, but not for all.



Did something happen on Christmas Eve? I hope not! But at least you had a nice new years eve, eh? Happy New Year then!

I think it's kinda' blasphemy to hate a religion based on a couple of people; my family are Christians and I never see them waving a 'Fags must die!'-flag.

Yeah, I got nothing against religion, but I cannot stand extreme Christains who are telling me I'm the Anti-Christ and what not. Doesn't the Bible say something about loving the next person as much as yourself or something?

Well, Tengo Tenge's Bob is a huge stereotype with dreadlocks, big, pink lips, huge muscles and bandana etc. I'm not sure how he acts though since I've only watched the first episode dubbed.



There are also amazing black characters in Bleach. Especially the sexy cat woman! I got such a one-track mind.



That's awesome! Congrats on coming out!...or at least on the internet where everyone can see it. Are you 'out' to your friends and family? I'm only to my friends.

It *is* racism, but some animes have been good with handeling black characters, and one is Revolutionary Girl Utena. There are four black characters there and all of them are unique, non-stereotyped and complex. Anthy Himemiya will for always be one of my top-favorite fictional characters of all time!



But YYH is the only anime/manga I can think of where there are several minor black characters; such as Bakken, Makintaro, Yakumo etc. And I *think* Sensui was part Indian 'cause he had darker skin and a bindi.



Yeah, the 'coming out of the closet' is one of the most interesting aspects of Yaoi and Yuri. How they with deal with it, how their friends react and such.

There are two animes till now that have black main characters; Nadia The Secret Blue Water and Afro Samurai; both play on stereotypes, or all the black characters are aliens (I'm not joking. ).



Wow...when I think about it...I've never seen a GuyXGirl-anime. It's always Yuri or Yaoi! But then again, it's more interesting to see a romance where the couple is of the same sex; they have to deal with things straight couples never have to worry about.

Thanks! Wow...I'm really touched, seriously. My face is beet red! Thank you! Actually, the main character of the plot I'm making (I've yet to name the story) is called Yuudai and is a black guy. Looks around 20 years old, and his arch-rival is an Asian woman.



Actually FFVII, the game, was really bad at explaining things and left many plot holes. In the end, I didn't get what the heck was going on! Luckily they learned from their mistakes and FFX became a masterpiece.



Yeah, usually I like Yaoi if it lacks angst. I feel that showing angst in a fictional homosexual realitionship makes people think that all gay people are angsty! In other words, 'angst'-Yaoi does a bad job portraying gay men. But Zetsuai made it work somehow...



RGU is amazing! Such a complex storyline and great characters. You won't regret it.

Thank you! Man, that's the greatest compliment I ever gotten; or at least the best one this year! Thanks! Really! I'm actually a little touched... I'm actually working on one, but now I'm trying to develop the characters and give the plot a little depth. Gotta agree with what the master Togashi said in an interview; making villains is damn funny!





HXH, like the rest of Togashi's works, is a masterpiece. It's not as good as YYH, but HXH is defientley his second best work. You also get the feeling he's really put his heart into it since the story is about a boy trying to find his father. The fact that Togashi is a father... You get the point.





Yeah, most of my friends are like that too. The FFVII-game weren't all that great IMO. Personally I prefer FFX.



Oh? It must be me looking at the wrong ones. But I doubt anything will beat Zetsuai; it had all the fluff and angst and all. Not to mention they didn't jump into each other's arms at once. They even had to fight off homophobia before they got each other!



Was it Kannazuki no Miko you read? Because that show is awful, again IMO. If you ever decide to watch a Yuri-show you should try Revolutionary Girl Utena. Complex plot and interesting characters; what more could you ask for?
