Hey. Name's Josh. My parents are both Muggles but I knew since I was born how different I was. Like they would have ever let me forget... let's just say my upbringing wasn't top notch.
Now that I'm going to Hogwarts I don't have to worry about that anymore. I'm not much different from everyone else here. I was sorted into Hufflepuff which is fine with me. I just hope I won't screw up my lessons... this whole magic business is tough to get used to after living in the "normal" world all these years.
Anyways though, I'm 16 years old. However, I'm only in my 4th year of Hogwarts... so it's sort of odd having classes with all younger students. There were... complications... when I was supposed to start. I have a small group of friends and mostly keep to myself... I'm sure half the Hufflepuffs don't even know my name. Yellow is my favorite color, in case you couldn't tell.
I play guitar, and I'm a pretty alright singer... I hope someday to get into music.
Most of all, I just hope I don't f*** up royally the few friends I do have...

I just thought you should know, I think you're a better person than your actions say you are. I saw you hanging around CBGB and everyone's talking about your affiliation with that.. "band," but, I mean, you're a good person. I know people say it's "cool," but that band is associated with promiscuous sex, drugs, and violence, and you're too good of a person to fall into that. So.. what I'm trying to say is.. think about it.
