hmmmmm, well, you can also earn gold by playing games and stuff, commenting friends, posting stuff up in the forums. You can do that until you can afford a monthly collectible or an evolving item, then save it until you can earn a profit in the market.

haha, sure. Well, first things first, every month, special items are released. They are called Monthly Collectibles. ^_^ You can get them at the Gaia Cash Shop for 250 gaia cash. You have to be gaia cash though. They sell the cards at Target's and Wal-Mart's. These items usually sell really high in the market place when they first come out, because demand is really high for them. Sometimes though, the items are worth more if you hold them for a while. For instance, my katana's are worth about 330 thousand gold a piece. They used to be monthly collectibles worth only 250 gaia cash.

yupyup. Besides, you wont be a n00b for long. It's pretty easy to get gold on gaia.
