Hello, I am Jane Volturi. My brother Alec and I were changed at the age of eleven. Although it may seem unorthodox that we were changed at such a young age, I have been told by many that we were changed as a matter of urgency. It was our last hope for survival. We had been orphaned, Alec and I, and we were moments away from being burned to death by the people of the village that we were born into, because many people thought we were witches.
The Volturi coven, one that, at the time, was very small, and consisted mainly of the masters and their wives, found us and changed us, having met us before and knowing that with much training, we would be mature enough to control ourselves. Something that many people think that immortal children are incapable of.
My power
My power is to create an illusion that that the victim is in writhing pain.
