A story
After he was forced to flee his hometown with nothing put the torn rags he was wearing, this beggar boy ran for the mountains, so he could throw himelf of a high one. He climbed the highest he could find and far past the clouds he walked to the edge, and saw an amazing sight. On the ledge below him a knight was battling with a black dragon using just the gauntlets he was wearing,seemingly trying to defend the pure white egg that was lying beside him. He climbed as fast as he could down the cliff as fast as he could to try and help the knight, but when he reached the ledge he was too late. The dragon had smashed the knight against the wall of the mountain completely crushing the knight, his armour, but not the gauntlets. The boy dived to push the egg into the cave behind him just before the dragon struck it. he succeeded, but the dragon hit him instead. the giant claw of the dragon ripped his cheek open and flung him to the feet of the knight. The boy reached up and pulled off the gauntlets and put them on himself, as soon as he did his body was completely healed and the boy felt a strength he had never felt before. He got up. He looked the dragon deep into it's eye, to find it's soul. It did not have one.It reared it's head back and took a deep breath, then it unleash the greatest flame ever unleashed by a dragon. Leaving the entire ledge and the entrance to the cavealava flow quickly making it's way down the mountain, melting all rock around it, towards the village that the boy had lived before the villagers had tried to burn him as a warlock. The dragon flew up into the air in celebration of destroying the two fighters that could have brought it down. Meanwhile, deep insde the cave, the boy was hugging the egg as tightly as he could and shivering, despite the intense heat from the lava flow outside.
The dragon watched the lava flow over the village with immense statisfaction. It flew down to examine what remained. It could not find anything except lava, bubbling and glowing with a heat that not even hell could duplicate it. The boy waited patiantly with the egg until the rock outside had cooled enough to solidify. Then, holding the egg close to his chest, he set off on his journey down the mountain to continue his battle with the dragon. When he got down the mountain the dragon was asleep so he hid the egg among a pile of small stones and walked up to the sleeping dragon's head, he raised his fist and screamed'WAKE UP!!!!! I CAN'T HARM A SLEEPING OPPONENT, EVEN YOU!!!!!' One of the dragon's eyes flickered open and the boy's gauntleted fist fist went plunging in, straight to the brain, killing the dragon instantly, at that exact moment the egg began to crack. The boy pulled his arm out of the dragon's eye at it turned immediately to dust. He rushed to the egg just in time to see the green and red baby dragon hatch.
