People change as they get older-- that's obvious, I guess, but if you work at your friendships, it is possible to overcome a lot of perceived difference. I mean, I've known my best friend for close to eight years, and we've fought- heck, we didn't speak for nearly a year. We've changed so much that if you saw us side-by-side in a mall, you'd wonder how we became friends in the first place, but nobody on this earth knows me better-- and I know him. We're always going to be there for each other.

To be honest, though, I haven't kept in contact with a lot of high school friends. I feel ridiculous writing all this, but I guess my only advice is to find your closest friends and keep them there-- don't be afraid to meet new people, but after high-school, it's the closest friends you keep. It's a lot of work going the extra mile with people you don't see for months at a time. The rest kind of drift away.
Haha, I won't be offended if you just skipped all that xD

Gahhh, no matter what they do, it'll be better than the construction signs!

How often does gaia do work like that? I'm a little confused. Are they re-doing the site, or just getting rid of old posts?
If they're re-doing the site, then I guess I'm excited, too. I didn't think it could get better, graphically-- but I guess I wasn't here before xD
Haha, my friend agrees with you about the better or worse thing, though.

Lol, summer break will do that to a person! I have to ask my parents what day it is all the time.
Just wait 'till you're in college. I get four months off for summer, and a month for winter break~ XD

Yeah, though, I think I've gotten pretty used to it. I'm sure there's stuff that will befuddle me now and then, but that's to be expected.
