History:
Origin

Born in Limbo Town, where the former residents of Roanoke ended up after supposedly disappearing centuries ago, Klarion Bleak grew up in a sort of perverted version of Puritania, where necromancy was common (and in fact was a vital staple of the local industry) and every witch-man, witch-woman and witch-child had their own draaga, or familiar. His true father having disappeared years earlier, Klarion always suspected there was a world beyond, but was vigorously discouraged from asking questions by the strict Submissionary Judah. However, when a spine-rider of the Sheeda arrived in Limbo Town one day, Judah and his fellow submissionaries panicked, convinced that the spine-rider had been sent in advance of their extermination. They transformed themselves into a Horigal, a monstrous gestalt form bonding the three of them and their familiars together. They then attacked all the witch-men in town, including Klarion's stepfather Ezekial. Klarion, who had found out about the Horigal and had tried to warn everyone, was pursued by the monster and fled upwards. In the process, he was separated from Teekl, his familiar.

Into the Blue Rafters:

Klarion ended up in the Manhattan subway system, and escaped the Horigal after it was hit by the pirate train called the William Jefferson Clinton. He ended up in the company of Ebeneezer Badde, another runaway from Limbo Town, who showed him the Leviathan (an hive-mind collective of children) and the Foundation Stone (actually the Fatherbox Croatoan, an ancient Fourth-World device). Klarion pocketed the small thing, thinking it to be little more than a die. Badde later turned on Klarion, attempting to sell the boy into slavery. Klarion in turn summoned Teekl and had his familiar lead the Leviathan to Badde, who was summarily killed by the multitude of children. One of the Leviathan told Klarion that Badde had long been capturing its component children in order to sell them into slave labor, and so the Leviathan offered Klarion and Teekl a place among its ranks in gratitude, but Klarion declined, wanting to see more of the world.

He traveled above ground, to Manhattan, where he was discovered by Melmoth, who offered the boy food and a place to stay. Melmoth was secretly looking for Limbo Town, as he himself had created the original witch-men and witch-women by interbreeding with the humans at Roanoke. He thus sent Klarion with a gang called the Deviant Ones to steal a giant subterranean drill for him. Klarion used Teekl to case the museum where the drill was held, and gang leader Billy Beezer set the Deviants loose within the museum.

When the Deviants returned with the drill, Melmoth deliberately played Beezer against Klarion to see what the witch-boy was capable of. Billy secretly feared being usurped, and Melmoth played to those fears, telling him that Klarion's skill with magic made him a strong contender to replace Beezer as the leader. Beezer attacked Klarion, who threatened him with a death curse, humiliating him.

Later, Klarion was awoken to see Melmoth forcing Beezer through an Erdel gate in order to be enslaved on Mars. Realizing that Melmoth intended to enslave all of the Deviants (and then discovering Melmoth's plans to use the drill to invade and plunder Limbo Town), Klarion warned his erstwhile comrades, but resolved to simply leave instead of trying to fight Melmoth. However, Teekl convinced him that he had a responsibility to return home to stop Melmoth.

Return to Limbo Town:

Klarion returned to Limbo Town, only to be nearly burned at the stake for blasphemy when he tried to explain that there was a world beyond Limbo which intended to invade. Melmoth's arrival halted the burning, and Klarion ran to ring the alarm bell. There, he was confronted by Judah, who had been gravely wounded in their previous encounter. Judah, realizing the imminent danger facing the town and accepting his own death, named Klarion as his successor, teaching him how to become a Horigal. Klarion merged with Teekl and attacked Melmoth's forces and knocked Melmoth himself into a fire. Severely burned, Melmoth boasted that he was immortal and retreated. Afterwards, Klarion was offered the chance to become a full-time submissionary, but declined.

Seven Soldiers of Victory:

Klarion returned to the surface world just as the Sheeda were attempting their Harrowing. He was accosted by Misty Kilgore, Melmoth's daughter, who demanded that he hand over his half of the Croatoan to her so she could avert the Harrowing. Realizing the importance of the device, Klarion stole Misty's own part of the Croatoan and hitched a ride aboard Castle Revolving, the Sheeda time-dreadnought. Taking advantage of the attempt by S.H.A.D.E. agent Frankenstein to take over the ship, Klarion commandeered the ship and traveled to the Sheeda's homeworld, where he used the Croatoan to take over.

Infinite Crisis:

Perhaps growing bored of ruling the Sheeda, Klarion traveled through time to the Infinite Crisis, where he aided the world's magic-users in summoning the Spectre and later aided the heroes in Metropolis. After the battle in Metropolis, Klarion wandered, at one point tricking Felix Faust into trading his soul for more power. He later appeared in Gotham City, where his cat Teekl was nearly kidnapped by another young Limbo Town native who'd wandered to the surface and who'd been kidnapping other witches' familiars in order to create a monstrous Judgment Beast. Klarion teamed up with teen superhero Robin to rescue the kidnapped familiars and returned them to their proper owners.

Most recently, Klarion encountered Mary Marvel, and offered to help her control her new powers in exchange for a small portion of her soul, to which she agreed. However, he got greedy, attempting to steal her power, and she knocked him away. His current activities are not revealed.

52:

During flashbacks shown by the Helmet of Nabu to Ralph Dibny in a mystical realm, Nabu reveals the decayed soul of Felix Faust, which has diminished due to his repeated desperate bargains he's made with it. Among the numerous beings Felix made deals with, Klarion was one of them.

Powers and Abilities:

Powers~

Psychic Link: Klarion has an innate psychic bond with his cat, allowing him to communicate with Teekl and see through Teekl's eyes.

Klarion visions ~

YOUNG JUSTICE BIO

Vital statistics

Alias: Witch Boy, L-7
Age: Ageless
Species: Lord of Chaos
Designation: A05 (briefly)

First appearance:
as L-7: "Fireworks"

as Klarion: "Denial"

Klarion is a Lord of Chaos. He is a member of the Light, designated L-7.

Personality:

Klarion is both a spoiled brat and a sociopath
. Cruel, vicious and spiteful, he takes great pleasure in causing chaos and hurting other people. He is utterly impulsive and demands immediate gratification for everything he does. His sense of loyalty towards subordinates seems mercurial, as he wantonly abandons his allies after being defeated. Aside from his cruelty, Klarion also acts like an immature and whiny child, who throws tantrums when he doesn't get what he wants, and screams angry threats that are made less intimidating by the childish way in which he does it.

Klarion only seems to love one thing, and that is his familiar Teekl, whom he is very defensive of. However, he is not above insulting Teekl during one of his tantrums.

Physical appearance:

Klarion takes the appearance of a scraggy boy with long, thin limbs, a thin neck and an angular face. He has black hair in a mop-top style with V-shaped bangs and devil-horns rising over the ears to points slightly above the top of his head. Along with his pointed crown, these devil horns gives him a distinctive three-pointed silhouette. He has arched eyebrows and sideburns that taper to a point. He also has long, sharp, black fingernails.

His clothes are formal, and predominantly black but include a white shirt with a tall, stiff collar (HRH collar). On top of this he wears a black skinny tie (low on the collar), black skinny trousers and pointed shoes, as well as a distinctive jacket. The jacket resembles a standard suit jacket around the chest and shoulders, although it has long sleeves with flared, pointed cuffs, and the jacket's skirt is similarly long (mid-thigh length) and shaped so that it comes to a point at the front. The jacket is fastened with two short button straps around the waist.

History:
Early life~

Klarion is an ageless Lord of Chaos who seeks means to strengthen his powers. He is anchored to the earthly plane by his familiar Teekl, who assumes the appearence of a cat. He allied himself with the Light, becoming its seventh member, mostly because it seemed like fun.

New Orleans:

Enlisting the talents of the faux magician Abra Kadabra, the pair attempted to locate and steal the Helmet of Fate from Kent Nelson to permanently neutralize Nabu. While they managed to capture Nelson, he refused to divulge any information about where he had stored the Helmet despite Kadabra's torturing him.

Salem:

However, when the Team was sent by Red Tornado to locate Doctor Fate, Klarion and Kadabra gained access to the Tower of Fate by following them in. The pair forced Kent to allow them into the tower as well, but Kent managed to get them all lost inside a maze-like pocket dimension. Kent managed to escape Klarion with the help of Artemis and Kid Flash, which infuriated Klarion immensely.

When Wally and Kent went to retrieve the Helmet of Fate, Klarion and Teekl managed to follow, during which Klarion hit Kent with a magical blast, killing him. Wally then proceeded to put on the Helmet of Fate, allowing for Nabu to take control of his body, transforming them into a new Doctor Fate. Klarion and Fate did battle, but eventually Klarion was forced to retreat when Fate attacked and gravely injured Teekl.

Teekl as it turned out, was not only Klarion's familiar but also his only tie with the physical non-magical plane of reality, causing him to fade. Klarion retrieved Teekl and escaped.

Undisclosed location:

After the arrest of the Injustice League, Klarion was present with the other members of the Light to hear Vandal Savage's view of the Kobra Venom plant test and the heroes believing they had exposed the Secret Society.

Roanoke Island:
Klarion and the crystal

Klarion holds the Ambre Jeune Perdu.

Klarion and Teekl arrived on Roanoke Island to summon Wotan, Wizard, Blackbriar Thorn and Felix Faust with the help of a gem. In a pentagram, they spoke a spell that shifted the adults and children in separate dimensions.

Roanoke Island:

Zatanna and the Team were on to him, but they were outmatched. Klarion easily deflected Zatanna's "baby magic", and transformed his familiar to battle the others. After Zatanna put on the Helmet of Fate, the tide changed, though Klarion noticed Nabu had trouble keeping himself stable in the separated dimensions. Eventually, the Lord of Order prevailed: Fate bound Klarion, but it was of short duration. After the separation spell had been undone, Klarion escaped and took Teekl with him.

New Orleans:

Klarion was waiting for Sportsmaster at a warehouse, but wasn't pleased with what the mercenary brought in. He expected T.O. Morrow, not Professor Ivo. After Teekl informed him Morrow was in a coma, and Ivo started to get annoyed, Klarion decided it would do.

New Orleans:

After Sportsmaster delivered some of Ivo's equipment, Klarion, Ivo and Brain experimented on the echinoderm. They were interrupted by Artemis, but Klarion used his magic to allow them to escape.

The Watchtower:

Klarion controlled the Starro-tech-infected Justice League members from a special console on the observation deck. When Red Arrow, Red Tornado, and Black Canary arrived back at the Watchtower Klarion identified them as not being infected and quickly realized that the Team were neutralizing his "toys". Hal Jordan contained the three Leaguers, and they were tagged with Starro-tech again.

While Vandal Savage was boasting, Teekl notified its master that the three heroes were not under their control yet. Black Canary attacked him, but in response, he summoned Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, John Stewart, Hawkwoman and Martian Manhunter to fight them.

Much to his dismay, the Team robbed Klarion of all his "toys". He protested to Savage that they could still win, but Vandal did not want to risk destroying the satellite, or killing any Leaguers, fearing that Klarion would lose control. The Witch Boy objected, but after being told something by his cat, his admitted he would "bring the chaos".

Unspecified location:

Klarion was present at the conference held with Black Manta, in which Vandal Savage lauded the latter for his efforts and made his induction into the group official.

Atlantic Ocean:

Black Manta summoned Klarion and the other members of the Light to introduce his son, Kaldur'ahm, and welcome him to their ranks.

Western Mongolia:

Klarion was present with the rest of the Light as Sportsmaster aired his grievances regarding the death of Artemis and the revelation that Deathstroke has replaced Sportsmaster as the Light's new enforcer.

After the Light's summit with their erstwhile partners the Reach turned out to be a trap laid by Aqualad and the Team, Vandal Savage summoned Klarion from his ring. The witch boy transmogrified a sword that Miss Martian was levitating at Savage's throat into a fire dragon, and made it attack her. Klarion then activated a portal which whisked him, Teekl, and Vandal away from the underground cave.

The Warworld:

Klarion opened a portal for Vandal directly inside the Warworld's crystal key chamber, where three Justice Leaguers stood on guard duty.

Powers and abilities:
Witch Boy

~Klarion using his power.~

Klarion is a Lord of Chaos, and as such is a powerful magic user. According to Doctor Fate, he is chaos personified and cannot really be contained.Much like Fate, he also faces the problem of needing an anchor in order to exist in the physical world, a role filled by his familiar, Teekl. He is able to manifest his powers in assorted forms, including, but not limited to:

Flight
Energy blasts
Magical constructs
Psychokinesis
Teleportation
Portals
Shapeshifting
Technomancy
Telepathy with his familiar Teekl

Weaknesses:
Teekl

Teekl
, Klarion's familiar.

Teekl: Klarion's familiar anchors Klarion to the Earthly realm; much like Nabu's with a human host. If Teekl is harmed or killed in any way, Klarion will lose his anchor and will be shunted back to his home dimension.
