Your poor Baby!
D: petco is where I bought my first 2 hamhams, they were girls and I bought them together, the store did not even warn me that they could potentially kill each other. So one died. I then got 2 little mice Peanut and oreo and I took them home little did I know (even though I ask the manager himself if they would fight) they started fighting to the point of blood spill! the manager said oh no worries, male mice can live together no problem! cat_scream
So I separated them and they live in their own cages.
But when I bought them peanut was scooped up by the guy and he is a very sweet hand tamed mouse,
But oreo was yanked up by his tail and he bit me and was the nastiest mouse ever.
then oreo started to hurt himself because he was suffering OCD because his cage was too small. (he would rub his ears til they started ripping and scratch himself to bleeding)
So now he has a new cage and is much more active and happy,
But petco is the worst place to ask advice on small animals.
The first time the cats knocked down the hamster cage was the first night they had the hamster home. The poor thing had a scratch above her eye. My friend was really worried that the poor lil miss was not going to make it. I assured her to give it a day and see how it goes. (the hamham was traumatized for a while) but she perked right back up!
I read robo's are escape artists! her's was upstairs but she lost her downstairs (we assume one of her cats got the hamham and bailed when they knew they were in trouble) just glad they didn't kill her D:
her hamster gave her a scare today cause she got loose (and there are cats in the house) luckily I found her in clothes hiding
However I have 1 fat hamham and 5 mice but I originally had 6 one died today for no known reason sad she wasn't even mine for a whole week
I'm sorry to hear about your robo sad I love my hamham and i often worry about her cause her nails keep growing and i have no way to safely trim them so I'm worried it's hurting her ><
