This is Brachi's second mule, iHoshina Utau.
At the beginning of the manga, Hoshina Utau is a famous pop idol who works under the Easter corporation in order to retrieve the precious Embryo. At her live concerts, she uses her Chara Changes with Il (Iru) to kidnap the heart's eggs of children and warps them into X eggs. The audience first meets her character at a concert Amu, Nadeshiko (Nagihiko), and Yaya attend. It is here they realize Utau also has Guardian Chara.
Utau's next appearance is when the Guardians are focused on rescuing Amu's three original Guardian Chara. The Guardians have a run-in with Nobuko Saeki, a TV sensation who was to interview Utau. The Guardian Chara had led the Guardians to the TV set by mistake because they sensed Utau's Guardian eggs, not Amu's. While the Guardians are chatting with Nobuko, Amu and Utau talk about Amu's missing Guardian eggs and Utau reveals her disagreement with Nikaidou's methods in retrieving the Embryo. Utau's desire is to find the Embryo on her own, without using underhanded means.
After the Guardian's face-off with Nikaidou, it's Utau's turn to shine during the Black Diamond arc. Utau loses Eru, her angelic Chara, to Amu and accidentally happens upon Amu's Diamond X egg. Diamond hatches into a powerful X egg Chara that powers up Utau's arsenal, allowing her to Chara Nari into Dark Jewel. In another effort to retrieve the Embryo, Utau forms an indie band called "Black Diamond", and records a single under the band name onto Wishing CDs. The Wishing CDs are then implanted with X eggs and secretly given to children in Seiyo Academy to brainwash the students and draw out the Embryo.
During this arc, the audience finds out that Utau is actually Ikuto's little sister, making her real name out to be Tsukiyomi Utau. Hoshina was her stage name, borrowed from their mother's maiden name.
The Black Diamond arc ends with a battle of transformations, words, and the overall lesson of finding yourself. While Amu is busy realizing herself and regaining Dia, Utau finally Chara Nari/Character Transforms with Eru to save the day from X egg characters.
Utau returns again in the Ikuto Death Rebel Arc to assist in Ikuto's rescue. She teams up with Yaya, making the Sister combo successful in their efforts of holding off the X eggs with her Seraphic Charm Chara Nari. She has not made an appearance since then.
