Hey there
Try giving your Meowth:
Aerial Ace (to fight off fighting pokemon)
Pay Day or Slash (for money and type power boost)
Water Pulse or Shadow Ball (can versus rock pokemon easier, since normal pokemon arent really strong against rock pokemon, ghost pokemon won't be able to harm you but u'll be able to harm them ^_^)
Thunderbolt or Iron Tail (can attack flying pokemon that are faster tan you, you can fight steel pokemon that has good defense)

P.S. You should evolve it, it's stats will be stronger
