Story: Hyosuke was born into a poor family, the eldest of seven brothers. He became a samurai at a young age and served under a lesser-known feudal lord, quickly rising through the ranks and becoming known for his strength and skill. However, when he and his brothers were ordered to invade a nest of powerful demons and slay every last one of them, things took a turn for the worst. The demons overpowered Hyosuke and his brothers, and at the end of it, only Hyosuke remained, injured and alone. After that, he left the service of the feudal lord and sword that he'd never let anyone get hurt under his watch again, turning to a life of helping and healing and leaving his past as a warrior behind him.
He's sometimes seen accompanied by a small black dog, whom he once found injured and nursed back to health. He does not own the dog, and the dog does not live with him or even stay with him all of the time, but they're inseparable nonetheless.
He's had many lovers ever since he turned 18, all men, but has never really fallen in love with anyone before.
