Honestly, I don't think it was on the front page this a.m. and I likely hadn't been back to the home page yet, been working on getting a few more things of of my wishlist!! blaugh I set "mini-goals" for myself. One of today's is "Silent Night", but on my way I found the "Opal Borealis" way lower than average price... so since it was the only one I had not acquired (and was the most "fitting" for me), I grabbed it up. Now I'm back on my mission! However, I did go vote since you mentioned it, and still it doesn't seem like "much" goin's on. Yeah I know what happens to the cookie sheets, even 'tho I haven't had the pleasure, but that's a GREAT idea to have the actual sled to double as a bird bath. Besides, now that I think of it, if you use the last cookie sheet, how will we ever bake cookies for Santa! wink

You nut!! blaugh I get so mad at Dallas! We are quite a bit further South! Last Year I actually SAW some snow and the Year before we actually had some snow (and before that like 5 CHRISTmases earlier. That's a lot for the coastal part of Texas in less than 6 yrs. Now, I have finally moved "back home" (after over 20 yrs. Closer to my parents. kids in my old school) so I will just pray they have some snow here (the average in all of this area, is usually about once every 7-10 yrs, but that included the coast too!!). Stick with the cookie sheet!! (I could suggest about 5 reasons why... but mostly because it'll always give you an extra smile/chuckle when you think of it!!) rofl

Oh, I'm so excited for you!! ...and a bit jealous! I think I may have mentioned here or there (profile) that I LOVE snow! We hardly ever see any in South Texas either! I even wear a snowflake dangle ring as well as somewhat subtly decorate the house in a snow "feel" (snowflakes, lots of crystal and silver, white, grays and blues) year 'round! Think of my when you see the snow! Maybe my heart will feel it! wink

This is my holiday celebration avi, for Sinterklaas weekend.
It's different from what I normally equip, but I like the creamy color of the dress, it's warm.
Well suited for the celebrations I think <3

I am ready for Sinterklaas!
~O please Sinterklaas take me with you to Spain, LOL, it's freezing over here.

Hi Harvey, was going to leave you a comment in your journal, but it's not working, or I am doing something wrong, don't know >.<

Anyhow really enjoyed the holiday songs, the Band Aid one is famous over here too, like that one 4laugh
Over here we still have Sinterklaas songs playing on the radio. One more week and everybody over here will get ready for Christmas too <3

About adding a video, there are so many nice ones.
I am going to add a Sinterklaas one, have nice memories on this one.

Lot's of people were there, all waiting for the boat to arrive. Can you imagine, waiting there for hours and hours in the cold....with little kids >.< Anyhow, I had a little radio with this song on it, the song is annoying, but the kids loved it, even the parents enjoyed it, was lot's of fun.

Light is good in fruity drinks and dark is rich and really does go good with chocolate! It is very very rich.

Alrighty then! I will most certainly add that to my to-do list! Rum is good, and you can use about any kind in the recipe, but I find that Meyer's Dark Rum gives the best flavor. Works awesome in truffles, too!
