THE GODLINESS

My name is Wendi and I am God.
Here is a huge rant. Feel free to not read. =D

I like to think about thinking. What it is and what it isn't. I came to the same conclusion as Descartes, that is "I think, therefore I am." This makes sense. You only know you exist because of your thoughts. You perceive the world around you and you perceive yourself. It is possible that you don't exist. You may be a figment of my imagination. Of course I "see" you... at least I think I do. My mind could be tricking me. I could be in a padded cell imagining the entire world around me. Gaia might not even be real. Suppose I am imagining it? You could tell me, "I see Gaia too. It is real." But How can I trust that I didn't imagine you saying that or even better how do I know you exist. I only know what I perceive and I have no way of telling the difference between what is real and what is not because I can't trust my own mind. I think I see these words but how do I really know? I think I can hear music. It is pleasing. How do I know it really isn't a recording of screaming monkeys? I don't. The only thing I do know is that I don't know. I don't know "nothing". Nothing isn't real. Nothing is defined as "not anything". Anything is something. The absence of anything is something because something is everything and everything is nothing. Nothing is truly a theory. An idea of the absence of everything if something were not there. It can't exist in this world because it would contradict the world and its existence. Nothing could be non-existence but non-existance is something making it anything but nothing. Also there is a theory of an entire universe set parallel to ours. This universe is primarily made of anti-matter. Our universe is mostly matter. Anti-matter does exist in our universe but when it comes in contact with matter it explodes sending off gamma rays. This process is used in P.E.T. scanners. It is said that everything in the universe is equal. Everything has an opposite of equal numbers. Taking this into consideration then there must be vast amounts of anti-matter somewhere. It could be another universe by ours separated by a field of gamma rays from the contact. This field hasn't been found but is entirely possible. Aside from this there could be other planes of existence, existing parallel or on top of our existence. So far about 11 or so planes have been confirmed. We can experience 4. What could be in these other planes. It possibly explains phenomenons that we can't. Think of it this way. A flat 2-D man can experience left and right, north and south. This is all he knows. One day a 3-D man picks up 2-D man. 2-D man has never experienced up. It it something entirely new, amazing, frightening, magical and god like to the 2-D man. He may claim the 3-D man to be a God and worship him in fear of his awesome powers of "up" and "down". Now say I walk along and pour a bucket of water on both of them and scream at them. They're both freaked out as ********. Now I'm God. Thats nice. Our human minds can't even begin to think up the possibilities of another plane and what could happen just like the 2-D man never imagined up. This isn't like people flying through the clouds and magical dust that turns rabbits into wolves. Its something I, you, nor anyone can ever imagine. Not even acid will help you trip up what we don't know. The possibilities are phenomenally amazing. This brain that can not think up these possibilities itself is amazing. To get ideas around in your brain little electric sparks are flying around in the brain and through the nervous system controlling the body. We are literally a slave to our thoughts. Thoughts that we only think exist. Our minds are too complex for us to even understand fully. We think we have free will but maybe we don't. Maybe we only think we do. Perhaps our thoughts are something else entirely. Maybe something tangible. Who knows? Maybe our thoughts are really controlling us without us knowing by letting us think we are in control of ourselves. Does a computer know it is a computer? Only if you program it to know. Perhaps we are the programed. Perhaps the computers programed us to think we programed them. More importantly though, thinking. Do we cease to think when we die? If thinking requires synapses of the brain, then yes. But if thinking is existing and when you die you stop thinking then why does a body remain? Can it still think? Can it just not communicate, trapped in a useless body forever to ponder everything else in a rotting body. Maybe you begin to exist on another plane. Away from everyone, or with others in your condition. Maybe you don't exist anymore and the body is only there because people think there is one. I highly doubt that any one will ever know the truth. In the words of Albert Einstein, "To me it is enough to wonder at the secrets." The mysteries of life should be pondered and marveled at and if possible, rationally explained, but people should not fear the unknown and explain it with crackpot bullshit but leave it as it is. The unknown. The mind. I like to think about what thoughts are and what they aren't. I like to think about ideas and theories. I like to find answers. I like to theorize. I like to philosophize. I like to to think because I like to exist. ....if you actually read this, congrats to you. I hope I gave you some random ideas and made you question all that you know. =)

Hmmm...

That is slightly helpful. xD I'll do some googling about it, but what's a tetrachord? And how do you know when it the next note in the scale is on the next string?

Also, uhm, I know when people write their own stuff it's often based off of a scale... what confuses me, is... do people use the notes only in the scale, or the notes on the frets inbetween two frets... uhm that probably makes no sense. Like this one scale is something like, 5 9on the E string, then 5 and 8 on the a string, 5 and 8 on the d string. There's more and I'm positive you're familiar with the scale, it's e minor pentatonic or something, but are the notes on say, the 6th, 7th, and 8th frets on the E string included on the scale?

That was probably very incomprehensible D:

I'd really really really like to pick up mandolin too : P I imagine violin is way difficult... what with the whole no frets thing, lol. How do you even... blahhh! xD

And I still don't completely understand music theory. Scales are still kind of a confusion to me. .____.;;

I love my yahama, I just wish I had more to play with sometimes. I pick up my brother's electric or his 12 string every once in a while for a little variety. 8 years? Christ! ._____.

I learned a little bit of piano, to help with guitar. Real basic stuff, just to understand the music theory part of it a little more. I'd honestly really like to learn more instruments, maybe bass or even violin would be awesome, but I'd like to be a ways more along in my experience with guitar first. Apperently knowing one instrument makes learning another easy ^^;

Yahama 700s acoustic, it's a hugeeeeee improvement from my last one. I'd get rattle from almost all of the strings .__.

Are those violins?
